Rumors have been circulating around the internet that season 3 of "Mistletoe Murders" has been picked up, but Sarah Drew took to social media to set the record straight with her devoted fans who love the mystery series.
In Sarah's message she clarified that the series has NOT been officially renewed despite the false chatters floating around social media and the internet.
She even noted that some AI-generated search results are incorrectly reporting a renewal, which prompted her to speak up so her followers would have the actual facts.
Here is Sarah Drew's statement:
Stay tuned, sleuthers,
for any clues of renewal
for "Mistletoe Murders"...

Just goes to show you can't believe anything!
ReplyDeleteI read the report that MM had been officially confirmed by Hallmark for a third Season.
Surely they won't let another programme end on a tantalising cliff-hanger.
I'll never forgive HM if they drop this one - Florence
I am with you Florence, as I LOVE this show. It is so good. I want it back so bad. I looked and its ratings for a Friday night were not bad, near 1 million viewers. Thats not far off some of the Christmas movies. And when HMM did mysteries, new movies, some didn't even have that many viewers. Thats not bad for a certain genre, rather than it being Christmas. I hope so much they continue this. I still have the last 2 episodes to watch. I love that they are 1 hour, then part 2, so I can break them up and watch as time permits. It has taken me all this time to watch them, and I FINALLY LOVE something Hallmark again. Please bring it back.

Florence & Sabrina, I feel the same! I was so-so on season 1 to be honest, but season 2 really got me hooked! I think it must've been the fact that there was that lingering tension between Emily and Sam, and I loved learning some of the back story on Emily and why she was in trouble. I can't imagine why the wouldn't renew it, but I've thought that before with other series that are still left unfinished. So... we'll see here. I've noticed lots of fans asking Hallmark for renewal, so that's likely to help here.
