Let There Be Peace on Earth...

On this truly historic day, peace has finally come to the Middle East, as the long and painful war between Israel and Hamas has ended through a remarkable peace agreement signed by President Trump.

My eyes are overflowing with tears as I watch the prisoners joyfully reuniting with their families, hearts that have long prayed and waited for this very moment now overflowing with gratitude and relief.

May this be the beginning of lasting peace, not only in the Middle East, but throughout the entire world.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
— Matthew 5:9

As we enter into the holy Christmas season, may God’s great mercy and grace continue to bless our world with peace.

With hope and prayer,
Net

  11. Net🥰 how beautiful to see and read your words!
I just knew all the lovely people on this Blessed blog would be feeling as I do...

Now I don't know if any of you were as Crazy🤪 as I was, and stayed up till after 5am Monday morning, I just had to See & Know for myself that All 20 Live hostages were safe on Israeli Soil.

Now I continue to Pray for the 24 left that were Murdered, their poor families deserve closure and the dignity for a proper burial.

The Good Lord knows how often I Pray-
Please let President Trump be the Grown-up, please be humble and gracious instead of the opposite🙏🤞

On the Biggest World Stage, and One of the most Significant moments in my lifetime (I'm 59)
President Trump displayed Extraordinary Praise for the Hostages/Families, for His Team, all the other Countries in the Region and beyond that made this Happen, and will continue to work Together on all the phases that come next.

President Trump has said often how he believes God saved him last year in Butler, Pa from being Assassinated-
Yesterday was an Incredible example of how I believe Only He could have made it happen.

Thank you Jesus for Always surrounding Us in your Loving arms, never leaving our sides and even in the darkest moments, being that beacon of Light and Strength to move us forward!!
    God Bless Us All🙏🙏

    1. Kathy, I can certainly be a little bit of a night owl, at times... but I was only able to make it to a little after 3am, when I knew the hostages were safely in the hands of the Red Cross. I immediately searched for all of the latest news, though, as soon as I awoke yesterday. Praise God the living hostages are safe and back in the arms of their family now.

I do feel like we were all watching a pivotal moment in history. I'm praising God with you for this incredible victory, but I'm also cautiously aware (as some have warned me) that there will be challenges to come in the coming days and years ahead. There's too much history and differences for there to be instant peace in that region, but I pray there will be some harmony. Praise Jesus we have come this far!

God bless you, my friend, and all the dear friends who have commented here and expressed your joy in this news of Peace in the Middle East.

  12. I am not a Jew and therefore can only imagine how this feels for those who are… but from the outside looking in, I’m just so grateful to God for this long-awaited occasion. To any who are interested, I highly recommend Ben Shapiro’s coverage of the event on his podcast. He was actually present in person at the Israeli parliament when Trump and others gave speeches. https://youtu.be/OiwQ1aYVL28?si=LIwiXyxttlBb4BYB
