On this September 11th, 24 years later, may we pause to pray for our country, remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the promise that we will never forget the tragic events of that day.
Please also keep the family of Charlie Kirk in your heartfelt prayers as they grieve such a devastating loss. May God bring them comfort and peace during this time.
God Bless America,

55 “Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:55-58

ReplyDeleteI pray we eventually have peace. There's just been so much darkness lately, I think it's all starting to get to me. -Maria
ReplyDeleteThank you Net for sharing this beautiful post as we remember September 11th on Patriot Day. I still remember exactly where I was when I heard the news 24 years ago. I am praying today for our nation, the family members who lost loved ones on 9/11, and the family of Charlie Kirk. May God bless and protect our great nation and patriots.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been 24 years since 9/11, but I remember that day like it was yesterday. I still feel all the emotions. Today, I’m praying for everyone who needs peace, including the Kirk family. Christie
ReplyDeleteI remember where I was when it happened. We were Stationed at Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas.
DeleteI was watching the news when the first plane hit the Tower. I was so stunned I just sat there Calling out to My God, asking Lord, why? I started interceding for the ones that were affected. Then the second plane hit the second tower. Well, the Arsenal was on lock down No One could go home. They employed a lot of Civilians.
Thank you Net.
ReplyDeletePraying today for the 9/11 lives that were impacted that day. I remember it well. I think I’m going to take a short break this weekend from watching tv and focus on Christ. With all this sadness with our country divided and the poor Kirk family, I need Him more than ever now. I went to bed crying last night. It’s so hard to take. But thankful to have a Savior who promises us He will never turn way nor forsake whoever calls upon His name. America isn’t our hope or our real home, so grateful that Christ is!!
For anyone struggling right now, I suggest reading Psalm 37. It always helps me and gives me comfort. ❤️
