    1. Maria, You sure did call that one... I remember well! And SSD won very decisively. The POstables always come out strong to vote. They are such a fantastic supportive fan base.

  2. No surprise with the rom-com and mystery results, but I am surprised with the Christmas results. For me the two first place winners were okay but not great. I'm most surprised that Sugarplummed wasn't among the top 7, since that had really favorable reviews on this site. Oh well, at least Holiday Touchdown didn't make it!

    1. I’m surprised at the romcom. Love Lacey but that movie was not good bc of the storyline with the supporting characters.

    2. I liked Autumn at Apple Hill & Blond Date Book club for romcoms.

    3. Mark 25, I agree about the Christmas results being rather surprising, but I suppose sharing and hearing of differing opinions is part of the fun of Net's site! The first place winners were just "meh" movies for me (although, to be fair, I still haven't watched "Charade" all the way through since every time I turn it on I lose interest or I'm in some sort of weird mood -- perhaps I would like it better if I tried it a fifth or sixth time??). I can't remember what movies I actually voted for but I'm guessing it was Sugarplummed and Following Yonder Star, with maybe an outlier nod to Festival of Trees (and I may have even thrown in a vote for Reason for The Season, but only because Kevin is such a cutie patootie!). I still haven't watched Holiday Touchdown - as much as I like Tyler, I just haven't had any interest in watching it; but it expires in a couple weeks from my FrndlyTv recordings so maybe I'll watch it before then?
Hopefully Christmas 2025 brings lots of high-quality cozy movies!! ~~Jane

    4. Mark & Jane, Yeah, the results can definitely be a little surprising! I was rooting for another movie that ended up ranking in the middle, so you just never know. A lot of it comes down to popularity, of course. Sometimes I’ll think, Oh, I love that movie!, ...but if it doesn’t have a big-name star attached, it often gets overlooked.

Jane, It's always wonderful to hear from You!!!! The movies you picked are great ones, too! It was good to see "A Reason for the Season" & "Following Yonder Star" come in 2nd and 3rd!!! :)

  3. Great to see the top picks here. I thought Curious Caterer would do better, but not surprised SSD took the win. As for the others, I think I chose all of them, so yay for those wins!!!!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    1. Allie B, I like those mysteries, too. In fact, two of the "Curious Caterer" movies took 1st and 2nd place last year.

  5. Of course a SSD won. They are the best!!! I want more so badly. Now that my watching WCTH S1-12 dvd marathon is over I’ve been doing the same with SSD. And I noticed you hear Gabe(the hurricane survivor singer) sing his song about Hattie in the Impossible Dream.

  8. I was hoping Once Upon a Christmas Wish would make it in the top 3, that was my favorite last year. But I really like the other Christmas movies that won, too. Christie

  9. Brennan Elliot wrote a beautiful response, thanking the voters for choosing His and Hers as a favorite movie. He also penned a lovely tribute to Lacey Chabert . The message brought tears to my eyes.
PS I hope there are many more movies starring these two wonderful actors and human beings

  10. Hi Net,

I read Brennan Elliot's post on Instagram about his movie winning. He is seriously a class act. :-) I can't say enough good things about him and I commented on his post. I adore him and Lacey. So, congrats to you my friend.

    1. Joan and Anonymous, Yes, Brennan’s message on IG was truly beautiful!!!

I was especially moved by the heartfelt way he spoke about the loss of his wife in March and his incredible friendship with Lacey.

It blessed me so much to share this good news with him.
