Here’s the plot for the new Ainsley mystery:
"Former criminologist Ainsley McGregor (Candace Cameron Bure) and the book club investigate the murder of a renowned yarn maker when she is murdered at Ainsley's craft store."
I’ve noticed a few comments on social media from viewers who don’t subscribe to Pure Flix and are hoping to see "Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Yarn Maker" on Great American Family. While I’m certain it will eventually air on GAF, it may take a bit more time before that happens.
The first Ainsley movie, "Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker," had its streaming premiere through Pure Flix on Thursday, July 25, 2024. It later aired on Great American Family on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

I don’t understand why Great American Family can not even give us a date on when this will air on the network. This should be premiering first on GAF and than on Pure Flix. Many of us GAF fans have been there from the very beginning put up with the old sitcoms and very little movies in the beginning. But still we believed in the network. We asked for more movies and mysteries. They gave some more movies and old mysteries. We got excited when Candace’s mystery was announced but than got disappointed when the first one aired in Pure Flix first and than GAF months later. It is okay I will watch this whenever it airs on GAF. It is a shame that being loyal does not matter to GAF. Amy

I watched this last night...and I Loved it! This one is wasn't as easy to figure out who did it, and we were just as confused as Ainsley was! Lol. I thought the acting was better in this one, and I loved how Candace brought a little of herself in this role. I give it two thumbs up!
