UPtv is continuing its annual tradition this year with a "June Grooms" themed lineup, featuring a slate of wedding-themed movie premieres throughout June. The new releases focus on couples preparing to say “I do,” making it a month full of romance.

Here’s a look at the new movie premieres coming to UPtv this June... (Please be sure to read the reviews!)

More movies may be added to this line-up.

Mr. Pawsitively Perfect

Premiere Date: June 1, 2025

Storyline: An aspiring marketing designer’s favorite foster dog is adopted by a famous but down on his luck furniture designer, whom she fears only wants the dog for his new image.

Movie Review:

🎬 Reel One's Mr. Pawsitively Perfect is both clean and adorable! Would be a good fit for GAF or UP TV. -Maria

The Wedding Contest

Premiere Date: June 8, 2025

Storyline: When a wealthy couple can’t decide on a wedding theme, they hire two wedding planners, Taylor and Ben, to compete for the job by proposing two very different styles. As they compete for the lucrative gig, Taylor and Ben playfully sabotage each other’s efforts but are growing closer together than either of them realise.

Movie Reviews:

🎬 Reel One's The Wedding Contest is super annoying. (and I believe the best friend is also gay). -Maria

🎬 The Wedding Contest - Taylor and Ben are both vying for the chance to be the wedding planner for a wealthy couple. Their rivalry is over-the-top and often crosses the line into irritating. Ben, played by Giles Panton, who I usually enjoy in most movies, takes on the role of a stuffy, self-absorbed character with an English accent. Around 20–30 minutes into the movie it's revealed that Taylor’s female best friend and co-worker has a romantic interest in another woman who works in the same building. I stopped watching after that. -Net

Two Chefs and a Wedding Cake

Premiere Date: June 15, 2025

Storyline: When a food critic at the top of her game comes face to face with a chef renowned for refusing food critics to his restaurant at her sister’s wedding, they must find a way to overcome their differences before the big day.

Movie Review:

🎬 Reel One's Two Chefs and a Wedding Cake has a gay caterer. -Maria

🎬 I remember enjoying Two Chefs And A Wedding Cake despite a gay character in the cast - Florence

A Wedding for Belle

Premiere Date: June 22, 2025

Storyline via Nicely Entertainment: A wedding blogger returns to her picturesque hometown to marry her wealthy fiance, only to reconnect with her high school sweetheart and realize she's about to marry the wrong man.

Technically Yours

Premiere Date: June 29, 2025

Storyline via Nicely Entertainment: After weeks of deep-faking a boyfriend named Brad, a tech prodigy convinces her office nemesis to pose as Brad at her sister’s wedding, but lines get blurred when she starts to fall for him.

    1. Florence, Yeah, in regard to those old Reel One movies, eventually they are going to run out of those "new" premieres and hopefully start fresh! :)

I noticed last weekend's three "new" premieres on three different networks had all previously aired on streaming first.

Seasoned with Love - BYU+, Tubi, Plex, Prime, etc...

Love On The Danube: Love Song - Hallmark+

The Love Club Moms: Nila - UP Faith & Family

I thought that was rather unusual for ALL of the movies to have already aired previously via streaming before premiering on TV. I think that will be happening more and more. But I do wonder how they can get ratings on TV doing that???

  5. UPtv has added 2 more movies to their June line-up... "A Wedding for Belle" and "Technically Yours." I've added details above.

There's no confirmation, yet, on exact premiere dates. I'll update that info when UPtv releases it.

Both films are from Nicely Entertainment.
