  2. How many and which of these movies are a sequel or a prequel? To anyone who takes the time to reply (thank you). Do I need to see the other one in order to understand and enjoy the Christmas movie? Oh, also, has anyone seen “Christmas with the Kingsleys”? The cover looks so cute. It must be from the same company as the above movies. If it is family-friendly, has anyone seen it available this year for free via cable or streaming? Again, thank you and Merry Christmas!! 🌲

    1. Anonymous, I've seen all of the Christmas movies Western Bound is airing this December so I'd be happy to answer your question.

The only movie that is a sequel is "Christmas in the Wilds." The first movie in the series is "Romance in the Wilds." For the most part, I think you should be able to understand the story just fine without seeing the first movie, but the original film does set up various characters and situations that continue on in the second film.

As for the movie you mentioned, do you perhaps mean, "Christmas with the Knightlys"?

If so, Jane, who is a dear friend here, reviewed this movie last year. Here's her delightful review:

🎄 Christmas with the Knightlys. What a cute little movie! Sweet, romantic, funny. Most all of the actors were new to me and they all did a good job. Family friendly. Glad I own the dvd so I can watch this again sometime. (I bought the dvd thru Net’s arrangement with Amazon.) ~~Jane

Unfortunately, I don't know if anyone is airing "Christmas with the Knightlys" on TV this year, but if you are also interested in the DVD, here's a link to check out more details on Amazon's website: https://amzn.to/41euOn1

The movie can also be streamed on Prime Video:

Blessings & Merry Christmas to you, too! Net

    2. Hi! Thank you! Oops, that is right, Knightlys. Thank you for the information. So good to know that there is just one sequel. Thanks for this and all that you do for all of us readers! Merry, Merry Christmas!

    3. Hi, Anonymous, If by chance you have a subscription to FoxNation, I think you can still watch "Christmas with the Knightly's" on there (streaming on a smart tv or roku or computer). If you don't have a subscription, there might be a possibility they're running a holiday special or free trial period, but I don't know for certain. You could also always try Hoopla through your public library system because sometimes Hoopla offers these type movies for free. With a lot of the free streaming options such as XumoPlay, you just have to keep checking back every now and then to see what different movies they've added. But, of course, there's always the Amazon Prime video option as Net noted. Or, if you were to decide to buy the dvd, I thought all three movies were cute, so it wouldn't be a bad purchase, in my opinion. Also, several of the movies on the Western Bound channel were cute, but my personal favorite was "Chistmas in the Pines". Hope you enjoy some of these good movies! ~~Jane
