🎄Happy 9 Months 'til Christmas!🎄 *Mark-the-25th* with Us!

Happy 9 Months 'til Christmas!

Today, on March 25th, we *Mark the 25th* day of the month as we countdown to Christmas!

If any of you plan to watch a Christmas movie today to celebrate this day, please be sure to share your pick in comments below.

Hallmark Family had previously scheduled a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" marathon for the next three days, beginning today, but that has
unfortunately been canceled. Due to this and the recent exciting announcement of two new "SSD" movies, I have chosen "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas" for my *Mark the 25th* movie pick.

It is so endearing to see all sorts of small miracles occur in "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas," which brings our POstables together for one very special Christmas celebration. I also love how the nativity story is incorporated into this movie, which, of course, is even more meaningful during this Holy Week leading up to Easter!

As scripture tells us, "She (the virgin, Mary) will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." ~Matthew 1:21

We rejoice in the birth of Jesus, knowing the promise from our Savior in John 10:10, "I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly."

Please be sure to share your Christmas movie choice in the comments below.

By the way, Hallmark Family is playing "Pictures of Hollis Woods" tonight at 9pm/8c. This movie is not entirely Christmassy, but the heartwarming end of this film takes place at Christmastime, and it always touches my heart.

I pray you all have a blessed Holy Week!
Happy Easter, everyone!

 In His Amazing Love,

  1. I was looking on my On Demand and came across one that I have never watched nor recorded for some reason, Karen Kingsburys Maggie’s Christmas Miracle. I love Jill Wagner so I’ll give this one a shot. I cannot believe we are done with the first quarter of the year, it’s so crazy to think pretty soon we’ll in the middle of the year! Happy watching everyone!

  2. Happy 9 months until Christmas! Geez… I can’t believe how far we’ve come since Christmas.

I was bummed they took off the SSD marathon this week as I was planning to record the first season. Anyway, I’ll watch Pictures of Hollis Woods after County Rescue since I’ve never seen it.

  3. Will this turn into a mystery movie series?

While there is no further information right now about Elliott’s Hallmark Mystery, it is likely that the feel-good network will make more than one.

Moreover, Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP at Hallmark Media spoke on the Hallmark Mysteries & More Podcast, telling Ruten that standalone mysteries are not as successful as a mystery series. Hopefully, this means the plan will be to make more mystery movies soon.

Meanwhile, Elliott’s fans miss seeing him in a mystery movie. However, it turns out Brennan is now working on his own mystery series.

Brennan Elliott and a new Hallmark Mystery

In a recent episode of the Hallmark Mysteries & More Podcast, Joel Rice revealed exciting news about Brennan. First, there was news of several new mysteries going into production, including two Aurora Teagarden Mysteries. However, Rice then revealed a bombshell, saying:

Sleuthers will remember that Brennan Elliott previously starred in two mystery movie series for Hallmark. First, there was the Flower Shop Mysteries, where he led with Brooke Shields.

His second mystery series was the Crossword Mysteries with Lacey Chabert. However, after starring in five of those movies, Lacey is now starring with Will Kemp in The Dancing Detective.

Meanwhile, the host, Eric Rutin said that Brennan had told him last year that he was beginning to work on a mystery series. Joel Rice then shared:

And we love the guy. Love the guy. So he came back to the mystery world. Yeah. But front and center, he’s going to. It will be him as the lead.

Basically, it seems that Brennan Elliott is busy, developing a new Hallmark Mystery with Muse Entertainment, in which he will play the lead. However, no mention was made about the other leading role.

While the new mystery is only in the development stage, no further information is available right now. Moreover, there is no indication that a script has been written, or that it is greenlit to make into a movie. Naturally, there will be no confirmation of this until Hallmark Mystery makes an official announcement.
