Hallmark Salutes the Red, White, and Blue with All-New Military-themed Movie starring Heather Hemmens and Niall Matter

Hallmark has partnered with the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, according to an article at Variety, to create an upcoming romantic film, “Come Fly With Me,” starring Heather Hemmens (A Pinch of Portugal, Christmas in My Heart) and Niall Matter (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Christmas Pen Pals).

“Come Fly With Me” storyline via Variety:
"The film stars Heather Hemmens as Capt. Emma Fitzgerald, who receives a two year assignment at Nellis Air Force Base with the Thunderbirds team, the Air Force’s famed demonstration squadron. While there, her daughter Lucy (Pietra Castro) becomes friends with Alice (Georgia Acken), the daughter of a civilian widower named Paul (Niall Matter). The two girls hatch a plan to bring their single parents together, with Lucy hoping it will keep her mother from continuing to move around.

Emma and Paul are drawn to each other, and a spark develops, but Emma is overwhelmed by the demands of her Thunderbirds training and tells him she needs to focus on her flying," the official description reads. "But when Alice’s health suddenly worsens, the thing keeping Emma and Paul apart could be what ultimately brings them all together."

“Come Fly With Me” is set to premiere September 15, 2023 at 9 p.m. ET. on Hallmark Moves & Mysteries.

I am always intrigued by a movie that honors our military, so I'm looking forward to learning more about this production as soon as Hallmark releases more details.

I'll end with the Air Force motto...

"Aim High...
Fly-Fight-Win!"

God bless, Net

  5. I like military themes and Heather and Niall.

And they've BOTH been married before so that evens things out - I don't mind that.

    One to watch - Florence

  6. Wow, the Thunderbirds! That’s cool. But part of me is wondering how our military had time to help make a Hallmark movie. Maybe it’s considered recruitment material.
