🎄 Lori Loughlin, James Tupper, and Jesse Hutch Star In 'Blessings of Christmas' (wt), a New, Original Holiday Film for Great American Christmas 2023

See what Great American Family
is dishing out
this Christmas!

This all-new Christmas movie starring Lori Loughlin, James Tupper, and Jesse Hutch had the previous title, An Angel's Fare Christmas, and now it has been newly named, Blessings of Christmas. However, this is also a working title and may also change, but I personally hope it doesn't because I really like the sound of Blessings of Christmas, especially since this film is about charitable work and spreading love.

Check out the press release below, which gives in-depth details on this new Christmas movie coming to Great American Family this Christmas!

Press Release via Great American Media:

LORI LOUGHLIN, JAMES TUPPER,
AND JESSE HUTCH STAR IN
BLESSINGS OF CHRISTMAS (wt),
A NEW, ORIGINAL HOLIDAY FILM
FOR GREAT AMERICAN CHRISTMAS 2023

NEW YORK, NY – July 10, 2023 – Great American Family today announced production has wrapped on Blessings of Christmas (wt), starring Lori Loughlin (Fall Into Winter, When Hope Calls Christmas), James Tupper (Fall Into Winter, Cold Copy), and Jesse Hutch (B&B Merry, For the Love of Chocolate). Blessings of Christmas premieres as part of Great American Christmas which returns October 20 with new holiday movie premieres every Saturday and Sunday and 24/7 Christmas movies through the end of the year. Holiday films fans need not wait until October as Great American Christmas in July returns to air on Great American Family, Friday, June 30 (6 p.m. ET).

In Blessings of Christmas, renowned TV star Mandy Gilmore (Loughlin) says goodbye to her hit culinary series, A World of Food, with plans to travel the globe dining in all 142 Michelin star restaurants. Before jetting to Paris, Mandy stops in Milwaukee with the deed to her deceased aunt’s food pantry, Angel’s Fare, recently purchased by adjacent business owner, Adam Carraway (Tupper). A simple transaction. Until pantry volunteer, Otto Nessen (Hutch) reminds all that Aunt Susie’s love of cooking was truly love of feeding and inspires one more holiday feast for those who need it most. Haul out the holly! For we need a little Christmas now.

Blessings of Christmas is executive produced by Brad Krevoy, Amy Krell, Vince Balzano, Alfonso Moreno, Lori Loughlin, Susie Belzberg Krevoy, Jameson Parker, David Winning, Doran S. Chandler, Trevor McWhinney. Produced by Brian Dick. Supervising producer is Bradley Goodman. David Winning directs from an original screenplay Blessings of Christmas by Alfonso H. Moreno. My Quick Take:

'Blessings of Christmas' sounds like an intriguing, sweet story for Christmastime with the food pantry and giving to those in need. The story also seems somewhat similar to Fall Into Winter, with both Lori Loughlin and James Tupper's characters sharing a business. Will they agree or disagree this time on how best to operate it? We shall see.

In addition to Lori Loughlin, James Tupper, and Jesse Hutch, the movie also stars Jason Cermack (Eat, Play, Love, Christmas at Dollywood), Karen Holness (Christmas at the Plaza, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Higher Ground), and Laura Bertram (Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Home Again). The cast can all be seen in the image below.

I hope you are looking forward to seeing 'Blessings of Christmas' this Christmas as much as I am. Please share your thoughts in comments below.

Blessings on your day,

  2. Hallmark is promising Big news coming tomorrow - June 11th! They posted this statement with a picture of a large ship in beautiful blue ocean water along with an anchor graphic with a snowflake inside.

Many commenters, including actor Benjamin Ayres, are guessing that Hallmark might be announcing a Hallmark Christmas Cruise for fans. Others are speculating there may be a Christmas movie drop.

We'll have to wait and see what this news is. Stay tuned! :)

Also, Hallmark will have a special announcement during the encore airing of "Haul Out the Holly" on Saturday, July 22nd at 8pm/7c.

    1. If it is a Christmas cruise and the actors know about it, that seems strange that Benjamin would spoil the news. Could the actors be clueless too?

    2. I took a cruise at Christmas while the ships is decorated beautifully, there were carolers it was a great Christmas experience. It is very very expensive to go on a cruise during Christmas.

    3. I can’t wait to watch. All of the great American Christmas movies that you have posted about all sound good.

    4. Hey Net, I havent watched much Hallmark Christmas in July (I did watch HMM CIJ) but I saw a promo for Countdown to Christmas, and it looks almost like Pascale Hutton is in a movie with Kristopher Polaha? I also saw Hunter King and it looks like Ben Hollingsworth. Rebecca Dalton also, and I guess they are making Haul out the Holly 2???

Sorry I will have to read about the news on Sat 22nd as I tried to watch Haul out the Holly but it was dumb.

I wonder if a few people are going to be in 2 movies, like LC and it seems KP is in the Biltmore movie and something with Pascale Hutton?

I did see the GAF all new movies til end of year commercial, and I feel like I can guess about 6 movies up to Oct 20th, so I am missing and can't wait to find out the other 5 movies, as there are 11 weeks between 8/5 and 10/20. I do see Danica in the autumn section but can't see her co-star. There are also 2 people fishing for summer, that I dont recognize. I love guessing the movies for GAF and cannot wait for more.

    5. Sabrina, Yes, that new preview shows a lot of highlights of what's coming this Christmas to Hallmark.

Kristopher Polaha's new Christmas movie, A Biltmore Christmas, is with Bethany Joy Lenz.

Hunter King and Benjamin Hollingsworth are in a new Christmas movie with the current title, The Santa Summit.

And yes, the Haul Out the Holly sequel is coming. I know there are mixed feelings on this. I feel the same. Some parts I liked, others I didn't. I am curious to see where they plan to take this story next.

And, yeah, the new GAF promo is exciting too! I love guessing, as well!!! :)

    6. Oh, I really thought I saw Pascale Hutton on the piano with KP next to her. But maybe that was BJL. I remember thinking was it rosemary and lee but it must have been Bethany Joy Lenz. I know a lot of the WCTH actors/actresses, it is hard to make a christmas movie with the schedule for WCTH. It looks like season 11 will start filming soon.

Yesterday Monday July 10th, HM actually had on Switched for Christmas, Let it snow, and Nine Lives of Christmas on. I dont think they will play any CCB movies twice, although they are the most popular. But it was a nice day to see her movies on.

Oh, I think I saw on GAF FB someone asked about more Garage Sale Movies, and GAF said something like stay tuned. Maybe they meant GSM on GAF, or maybe a mystery series with LL?

    7. 2 people are fishing!!! Looks like Corey Sevier or someone else

    8. There's a sneak peek for A Biltmore Christmas on YT. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac327AJBpXI) Bethany's hair and fashion style is a lot like what Pascale would wear for Rosemary.

By the way, I watched some of Let it Snow yesterday, too! Still love that one. You can so tell it's real snow! Since both CCB and Jesse are on GAF now - wouldn't it be fun to see them together again!?!?!

As for mystery, I've heard GAF is working on that - and there's supposed to be some mystery movie premiere possibly by the end of the month. I don't think it will star Candace or Lori, but I think they are wanting viewers to know mystery is coming too- in addition to the rom-com movies. :)

    9. Probably, Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys on GAFAM

I asked GAFAM Media about Mystery movies

    10. Hi Net,

Thank you for the link to the trailer for A Biltmore Christmas. Biltmore is one of those special places that I have always felt was magical. I visit Western NC frequently and I was bummed I wasn't there when they filmed the movie. My husband and I stay at a lovely B & B in Mills River NC several times a year which is not too far from Biltmore. I can't wait for this movie to air! It is on my 'must watch' list. :-) :-)

    11. I strongly doubt GAF would have Nancy Drew as a regular mystery series. The series has aired here in Canada and it is NOT family friendly at All. It is nothing at all like the Nancy Drew mystery books!! I shut if off within the first few minutes and have not watched it since and by the commercials it has only gotten worse!!

    12. Anonymous, the video clip of the two people fishing is Camilla Belle and David Lafontaine in the movie "10 Truths About Love," which is a rom-com movie from Reel One Entertainment.

I'm hoping GAF will play some more ROE movies we've been longing to see! :)

    14. Mimi, Thank you for sharing your Christmas cruise experience with us! That must have been so lovely to see in person.

Maybe this cruise will be a little less expensive - since they'll be traveling next year during early November and not over the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday.

So glad you were able to enjoy such a beautiful cruise. And, it's nice to hear how much you are looking forward to the new Great American Family movies too! :)

  4. Great update here. Maybe after GAF ups their number of Christmas movies this year they can ditch some of the bad ones. I won’t name them, but we all know them. They usually end up in the over night hours. Rob

    1. I agree on the bad movies and hoping they will be done. Some of the acquired movies, they are very low budget and the volume is so wacky. I did watch a few like Christmas Wish in Hudson, and although the volume was up and down, it was a good movie. Now Match Made at Christmas, I wanted to like it cause i like the leading girl, and love the family dynamics and preparing a Christmas wedding, but the man in the love was so SO MEAN and nasty to the girl. And, the bf was so mean to her too right before the wedding. The Christmas lovers anonymous was really bad too. But so many good movies on GAF too.

  5. Movie has great possibilities. It could even be a series with a theme of helping others and the story behind those in need. I am hoping for more enjoyable GAF movies. I will add my agreement to “itsawonderfulmovie” contributors that GAF could kindly retire a few of the movies and replace with improved movies. Best to GAF and faith and family entertainment.
