🎅 Haul Out the Holly Sequel + Sneak Peek is Coming!

Get out the Christmas lights, tinsel, and regulation Nutracker, Southern Living is reporting a sequel film to "Haul Out the Holly" is coming this Christmas titled "Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up," starring Lacey Chabert and Wes Brown!

Storyline details from Hallmark...

"As the holidays approach, Emily (Chabert) and Jared (Brown) are looking forward to celebrating the holidays together again, this time as a couple. Emily, now embracing Evergreen Lane’s uniquely festive spirit, is ready to work with Jared, Ned (Tobolowsky), Mary Louise (Travolta) and Pamela (Peterman) to make this year’s Christmas celebrations the best yet – even if being the HOA president’s girlfriend doesn’t stop those dreaded decorating citations. When a house on the block goes up for sale, it causes quite a stir with residents.

When the soon-to-be neighbors turn out to be holiday royalty, it looks like this year’s competition is about to heat up. As the welcoming committee prepares for the new arrivals, only one thing is certain – this Christmas, Evergreen Lane is going to sleigh!”

Be sure to look for an all-new sneak peek to the new movie this Saturday night during an encore airing of the original, "Haul Out the Holly" movie at 8pm/7c. on the Hallmark Channel.

Happy Christmas in July!

  1. A lot of people are going to be delighted about this.

Sadly I'm not one of them! - Florence

  2. I do love both of these actors, but Haul Out the Jolly wasn't my favourite, way too corny. Hopefully this one will be better. I'll give it a try. :)

  3. Not another one - Haul Out of Holly 2 is completely ridiculous & silly

What’s about The 3 Wise Men & a Little Guy is parody to The 3 Men & a Little Lady

  4. Oops! I just realized I said, "Haul Out the Jolly." Instead of "Holly." lol;)

  5. I loved this movie because it was different. It encompassed joy and laughter and family without the overly dramatic themes and heavy romances that plague hallmark and great american family. I for one would love a better balance in my Christmas movies!

    2. I loved the first movie! I’m happy there will be a second one. Two of my favorite actors! It had good humor and a fun storyline.

  6. I hope Ms. Chabert is not on the road of sequels to sequels - or phone in the acting approach.

  7. Curious about something I belong to several hallmark Christmas movies fan groups and have seen several comments about Christmas movies. They said that hallmark will be airing Christmas movies but they will not be airing them 24/7. Also they say that Hallmark Movies and Mysteries will not have Christmas movies this year. That this was decided earlier this year. I was wondering if you have seen or heard anything?

    1. That is interesting, for sure. I would love to know where they heard that. I haven't seen those details on Hallmark's Christmas schedule, yet. I cannot imagine the Hallmark Channel wouldn't be doing theirs 24/7 when Great American Family has announced they are.

Also, I can't imagine HMM wouldn't have some new movies during the Christmas season.

Nothing at Hallmark, however, would surprise me anymore.

    2. Given how badly HMM has been handled this year with all the terrible movies and low ratings, I really wouldn't be surprised if new movies on there gets cut back a bit.

Real shame at what Hallmark did to that channel, it aired some amazing movies over the years, and now it's basically a huge shadow of it's former self. -Maria

  8. All very interesting.

Remember last year HMM had cut well back on the number of Christmas movies from 2021 but it is hard to imagine there would be none this year.

But I don't think it's just streaming to blame for the falling ratings on HMM.

They are quite simply not giving the viewers what they want.

The Mahogany movies are a disaster, it was forseeable that movies would not garner as many viewers on Friday nights and despite large opposition they created many new poor mystery franchises and inexplicably canceeked many still popular ones for no apparent reason.

Sadly, HMM have created all the problems themselves - Florence

With apparently more and more being streamed and the falling ratings I actually wouldn't be surprised to see HMM eventually integrated with the main channel.
