I was looking through my photo album and noticed I have a lot of images from behind the scenes of Great American Family Christmas movies from social media, and I thought it would be fun to share these random pics with all of you! Some are recent, and others are from a week or so ago, maybe more!
Here we go...
The first image above is of Jen Lilley and Matthew Morrison dancing around a Christmas tree in Paris Christmas Waltz. Here are some more images from the set...
Danica McKellar is currently filming her royal-themed Christmas movie, Royal Christmas Ball, for Great American Family. So far, she's only been seen alone.
Susie Abromeit recently shared who her co-star is in her Christmas movie, Designing Christmas (wt), Liam McIntyre, and she also recently shared a close-up image and a video dancing in the snow...
Jessica Lowndes has shared some behind-the-scenes videos from her Fall movie, including one of her co-star, Luxton Handspiker, who plays Jessica's son in the movie. Luxton portrayed the new orphan, Roy, in the "When Hope Calls" Christmas episodes.
At the beginning of June, Trevor Donovan shared these images as his Christmas movie, Christmas By Chance, with Merritt Patterson, was wrapping. He's currently filming his Fall movie for Great American Family.
I also have some screen grabs from Candace Cameron Bure's military-themed Great American Family movie, My Christmas Hero, which was filmed back in April. You can even see an American flag in the background of the second image. Plus, Candace shared a fun press shot with her photographer, Ricardo Hubbs.
And last but not least, for those of you who have been wondering about Jesse Hutch's Christmas movie... it appears he will be starring alongside an all-star cast with Lori Loughlin, James Tupper, Jason Cermack, Karen Holness, and Laura Bertram in An Angel's Fare Christmas.
You can see a screen grab image of Jesse plus the main cast in the image below. It appears James Tupper may be playing Lori Loughlin's love interest, as he did in their previous movie together, Fall into Winter.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this exciting look at the upcoming Great American Family movies coming this Fall and Christmas!!! I'm so looking forward to ALL of the original movies they have planned.
I can't begin to say which movie I most want to see - because they ALL look FANTASTIC!!!
Do you have a top pick? Please share in comments below.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Net, you miss horses when I saw on GACTV stories - David Alselmo took selfie with horses for Danica McKellar’s movie. Directed by Bradley Walsh
ReplyDeleteYes, I did see that image of film producer, David Alselmo. I was only focusing on the main stars in the various movies above.
DeleteUnfortunately, the image you are referring to is not in the IG stories any more, but I saved it.
See image *here*
It's fun to see horses are involved again in Danica's royal movie since she also went riding in "Crown for Christmas."
Blessings, Net
These all look amazing! Can't wait to see all of them this holiday season. :) -Maria
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all this. I can not wait to see all of them. My top pick is Paris Christmas Waltz.
ReplyDeletegigi, That's a wonderful choice! Paris Christmas Waltz is definitely high on my list, as well! :)
DeleteIs that Jason Cermak beside Jesse Hutch?
ReplyDeleteI see Lori Loughlin, James Tupper, & Karen Holiness with Jesse Hutch & Jason Cermak
Yes, that's Jason Cermak in the blue suit.
DeleteI haven’t seen Jason Cermak in any movies since Christmas at Dollywood
DeleteJason Cermak was in Christmas Time Is Here, Mystery 101, Right in Front of Me, A Glenbrooke Christmas and many other movies since since Christmas at Dollywood.
DeleteHe even has 7 films upcoming that are either completed or in post-production. Even though he isn't often the lead character, I think he keeps pretty busy acting in various projects.
Speaking of Jason Cermak, he just showed up in a new Christmas movie by Reel One. I've enjoyed him in past movies, so it'll be nice if this is one we get to see this Christmas!

Shocked GAC has so many Fall movies. Danica is doing one, Trevor is filming his Fall movie now and Jessica is filming her Fall movie. The most new movies that GAC actually produced instead of acquired in a season that isn't Christmas season is just one new one from them when they did Winter Palace and Fall Into Winter last season and then Harmony From The Heart so them having 3 new Fall movies from the big stars is actually 3x more than they've had. It took them years to do it but they finally have more.
ReplyDeleteNo official word, yet, but it's possible that Jessica and Trevor are filming their Fall movie together.
DeleteSo excited! I keep hoping Jill Wagner will be doing one too. I’ll be sad if she’s not.
ReplyDeleteIt's been shared that Jill Wagner is doing a Christmas movie for Great American Family, too. Hopefully, if the actors strike after June 30th there will still be time.
DeleteJill shared a video in her Instagram stories that she is in Vancouver. So maybe it is the Christmas movie.
Deleteπ€π» I missed that, so here’s hoping! π€π»
DeleteGigi, Great catch! I checked it out yesterday and noticed she mentioned being in Vancouver as she's working out. That's great news. I hope she can get her movie finished before the actor's strike, if that happens.

Makes me so excited for Christmas movies this year ππ»ππ»ππ»
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these BTS pics. That’s a great cast for Lori’s movie. There are three guys in the movie that have played a lead before. That’s kind of surprising that Jesse won’t have a lead role.
ReplyDeleteOooohhh I am loving these BTS photos Net! I am excited for all of these movies, especially the fall one with Jessica Lowndes, I feel like I haven’t seen her in a movie in awhile. I had recorded Harmony from the Heart and had a glitch with my DVR and it was deleted :( And I haven’t seen it air again….I am also really looking forward to the one with Lori Loughlin.
ReplyDelete—Paula
Paula, I have good news! "Harmony from the Heart" re-airs this Wednesday night at 8pm EST. I hope you can record it and catch it then. I love that movie so much - especially the singing in the car scene! That's the best!!! :)
DeleteThank you for sharing the movies you are looking forward to seeing. I agree - those look great to me, too!
Blessings! Net
Thank you so much Net! I have set to record for Wednesday πππΌ

Is that Jason Cermak in between Karen Holiness & Jesse Hutch? They’re both stars in the movie with James Tupper & Lori Loughlin
ReplyDeleteYes, that's Jason Cermak ("Eat, Play, Love") in the blue suit.

ReplyDeleteSuper excited for GAC Family movies. This weekend I got around to watching a few from this past Christmas. B&B Merry was on and I LOVED it. I also watched the Candy Cane Lane movie and it was very good too. I like the movies where a married couple is having problems and they work them out.
ReplyDeleteI am SO excited for the Destined at Christmas 2. I liked that movie, and they ended it really where they found each other, and left it really opened, (I mean they werent engaged, or married, etc). So I see there is a lot of potential in the 2nd movie.
Love Susie A so excited. I didnt see christmas at the drive in, but i think it is the friday night movie this week and I am going to record it, or watch it live.
It is SO HOT here in Florida, so these christmas movies are making me long for fall. I am so happy GAC is playing Christmas 24/7 for Christmas in July (In June) I say. So that will be my go to. HMM is really disappointing that they are only playing a few movies a day, and several of them have to be Holiday Stocking, Christmas in My Heart, the movies they continue to push when many would rather see the older movies, or even some from the past recent years.
Cant wait for GAC Family Fall Movies!!!!
Sabrina
Sabrina, Soooo good to hear from you, my friend, and hear all of your warm enthusiasm for the upcoming slate of Great American Family movies!!!
DeleteI love hearing about all the movies you've enjoyed on GAF, including Destined at Christmas! I'm so excited they have made this sequel, and I'm happy to know you are too. The original was definitely a unique story and not the typical rom-com cookie cutter. Plus, Shae and Casey are rather new, so it was nice to see some fresh faces.
Hope you enjoy "Christmas at the Drive-In." I thought it was an enjoyable watch. For someone who knows all too well how cold it gets in the winter, a Christmas Drive-In is kind of a crazy idea, unless it's located in Florida or some place warmer in December. However, the location in the movie is very cold because they use heaters and extra blankets. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it Friday night and it helps you feel a little cooler - as we start Summer.
