Actress Susie Abromeit (A Hot Cocoa Christmas, Love in Bloom, Snow Bride) shared some lovely pictures from the set of her new Great American Family Christmas movie, and I couldn't resist sharing them with you!
In the photos, you'll also see/meet Susie's co-star, Liam McIntyre, who you may recognize from the Great American Family rom-com movie, This Little Love of Mine.
It appears the two are dressed up for an elegant Christmas party, in the images Susie shared with us...

Susie shared some fun details about this Christmas movie project in an interview with Bill Abbott (CEO of Great American Media) back in May, giving us a little synopsis of what the movie is about...
Designing Christmas (working title) is an upcoming Christmas movie project for Great American Family starring Susie Abromeit, who will be working with the same creative team behind her movie Romance in the Vineyard (A.K.A. Love by the Glass). In this new Christmas film, Susie will portray a woman who will take on the task of designing a home left to her by her late grandmother.
Speaking of Susie's other movie, Romance at the Vineyard, we're anticipating that film to premiere sometime this Summer or early Fall on Great American Family. (Update: Romance at the Vineyard will premiere in August!)
Susie has another handsome co-star in this movie, Tim Ross from Hearts Down Under.
You can see the trailer for Romance at the Vineyard below.
By the way, if you don't want any spoilers, I suggest skipping the trailer or fast-forwarding through it!
Looks like lots of fun things are happening behind-the-scenes for Great American Family!
Be sure to stay tuned!
Blessings,

Yay! Great job Great American Family! I’m looking forward to both of these movies starring Susie.
ReplyDeleteWasn’t there another Christmas movie recently with this title?
ReplyDeleteYes, there was a Discovery + film with the same title that starred Jessica Szohr (Lucky in Love) and Marco Grazzini (Right in Front of Me, Christmas Unwrapped) and featured Hilary Farr, of the HGTV show, Love It or List It.
DeleteThey will probably (hopefully!) update this title before the movie premieres on Great American Family.
I love Susie Abromeit, but I’m only halfway remembering This Little Love of Mine. I’ll have to catch it again next time it’s on. Susie and Liam do look cute together. Paula T
ReplyDeleteThese all look so sweet! -Maria
ReplyDeleteRomance in the Vineyard could air in mid-July after Christmas in July movies done or August
ReplyDeleteThey're both in their early 40s but Liam McIntyre looks much older than Susie.
ReplyDeleteI thought he was too old for the role in This Little Love Of Mine.
Susie and Tim Ross look to have ggod chemistry though - Florence
I think they both look more like early or mid thirties.
DeleteCan't wait to watch this.
ReplyDeleteIt’s nice to see you included Snow Bride in Susie’s credits, Net. That’s when I first noticed her. I don’t think she’ll play a bad girl on GAF, but she’s really good at that. CJ

ReplyDeleteIs Danica doing a Christmas movie with Jessie Hutch?
ReplyDeleteMisty
Misty, Great Question!
DeleteGreat American Family hasn't announced, yet, but we know Danica McKellar is filming right now and so are Jesse Hutch and Paul Greene. So... either co-star is possible. Maybe both??? My guess is Danica's co-star is Paul, but that's just my hunch.
Also, Trevor Donovan is filming his Fall movie and Jessica Lowndes is also currently filming a Fall movie, so maybe, they are working together???
Anyway, Jessica did share one of her co-stars... Luxton Handspiker. He's a young boy who plays Jessica's son in the movie. If you've seen the "When Hope Calls" Christmas episodes, he's the boy who played the new orphan, Roy. He was so good in that; I can't wait to see him in this new movie! :)
Blessings, Net
Luxton Handspiker was voicing Rex from Paw Patrol, Perwinkle from Blue’s Clues & Rubble from Rubble & Crew and Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie
DeleteI was watching the movie called; “Prescription for Love: A Cinderella Story” on GAFAM when. I saw Romance at Vineyard & then One Perfect Match are coming this Summer on GAFAM yesterday
ReplyDeleteRomance at the Vineyard

New Movie premiering this Summer
One Perfect Match
Merritt Patterson & Joshua Sasse
New Movie premiering this Summer
Romance at the Vineyard & One Perfect Match are both new movies are coming to GAFAM this Summer
Thank you for catching that and sharing this news with us! I knew both films were coming sometime, but it's nice to see this official announcement from Great American Family.
DeleteI've also discovered they are also promoting "Key to Love," starring Corey Sevier and Alicia Dea Josipovic, to premiere this Summer.
Hope we will learn premiere dates soon! :)
Have a blessed weekend, Net
Oh wow, Does Corey Savier sing as referred that he’s piano player. He played piano on Little Men at young age
DeleteAlso...
Delete"Dream Wedding," starring Rebecca Dalton and Jesse Hutch.
I've seen and enjoyed Rebacca Dalton in several movies but the one I remember most is A Honeymoon To Remember (aka Under A Lover's Moon) which was one of the worst I have ever seen - she was nothing short of a psychopath ( don't take my word for it, read the plethora of reviews on IMDb).
ReplyDeleteIncidentally Spencer Lord played "the other guy" - I didn't really take much notice of him at the time but he resurfaced a short while ago in the magical Mixed Baggage.
Anyway as I also like Jesse Hutch I had looked forward to Dream Wedding.
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
I was nonplussed when it went straight to the Internet in April but having seen it last week I can understand why.
The whole premise was off - claiming a $100,000 draw prize when you weren't entitled to be in the draw is just fraud and although the sister urged Kate on she should have stood up to her.
Surprisingly I felt little chemistry between Rebecca and Jesse, the guy chosen to be her fake fiance to continue the fraud was to say the least odd, the plot was slow moving and dull and then there was the lady who overheard Kate and her sister talking in the rest room and tried to bring the situation to the attention of the organisers of the ballot and to claim the prize herself.
Her role was way OTT and frankly embarrassing.
The sister's boyfriend does use one swear word several times although I'm sure GAF will have this edited out.
Not a movie I ever want to see again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch it - but then that's just my opinion and we all have personal tastes.
Florence's rating - 4.
Better news on The Key To Love - it was a pretty entertaining and solid little Rom.Com.
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
Alicia Dea Josipovic (Samantha) was a new name to me but there was good chemistry between her and Corey Sevier (Josh).
It centred around a man inheritating and coming to settle his grandfather's estate but the final part of the will was missing.
Samantha discovered a key inside one of the grandfather's books which were donated to her shop and there was a nice little mystery as to what it might unlock.
There was also the lawyer in charge of probating the will who didn't seem kosher and his daughter who tried to make moves on Josh, nice comedic touches relating to Josh's standing in as a cover model.
Several surprises along the way and at the end.
Family friendly and certainly worth a watch
Florence's rating 7.5
I've been looking forward to Romance At The Vineyard for some time now - can't wait to see Tim Ross again!
One Perfect Match sounds interesting - I generally like Merritt Patterson and although Joshua Sasse is unfamiliar, looking at photos I thnk he and Merritt could make a good couple.
I'm liking the recent upgrade to the Website.
Whereas before it could have taken some time to download on entering, the current schedule, new comments etc now appear instantaneously.
I also like the way you can now access each calendar year's movies separately and with one "click".
Thanks, Net

Joshua Sasse was in Galavant & Her Pen Pal
