🌠πŸŽ₯ Lights! Camera! Action! Michael & Janeen Damian Sign Three-Picture Movie Deal with Brad Krevoy’s Motion Picture Corporation of America!

Deadline is reporting this new movie collaboration deal between Michael and Janeen Damian with Brad Krevoy's MPCA. They previously worked together on these movie titles: A Princess for Christmas, The Sweeter Side of Life, A Royal Christmas, Crown for Christmas, and The Christmas Waltz for the Hallmark Channel, Much Ado About Christmas for Great American Family, and Falling for Christmas for Netflix.

The newly announced Movie Titles (including 2 Christmas!) are:

πŸ€ Irish Wish
- a rom-com starring Lindsay Lohan
- to be released in 2024 on Netflix

πŸŽ„ Paris Christmas Waltz
- according to Deadline, this film is a follow-up to The Christmas Waltz (starring Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp)
- casting is underway
- filming will begin in Europe this Summer in June
- no word on whether Hallmark is a part of this production or if Lacey Chabert or Will Kemp will be involved in any way

πŸŽ„ A Sound of Music Christmas
- will film on location in Austria in 2024

I thought you all would be excited to hear this movie information, especially the details about the Christmas films. Many of their previous films, such as A Princess for Christmas, Crown for Christmas, and The Christmas Waltz, are among some of my favorites, so I'm looking forward to hearing and sharing more about Paris Christmas Waltz when even more details are released.

  2. I really can't make much sense of this - how could you have a sequel to Christmas Waltz without Lacey or Will?

Christmas Waltz was almost the perfect movie until Hallmark decided to be "clever" and ended it so abruptly - a 2 minute epilogue could have cemented this as THE Hallmark movie of all time.

They could have shown the opening of the Brighton Beach studio with Avery sporting engagement and weeding rings and perhaps even with a baby bump.

If it's a follow-up wouldn't Hallmark have to be involved?

What I am seriously worried is that they might do a hatchet job as they did with Christmas Under Wraps.

Surely not? - it's worrying though - Florence

    1. Considering that Michael and Janeen Christmas movies have been for Great American Famliy or Netlfix. And Brad Krevoy Christmas movies have been for Great American Family, Netflix, and CBS. I doubt very much that it will be on Hallmark.

  3. Apparently Will Kemp signed a multi-picture deal with Hallmark last year but importantly it includes an "exclusivity on holiday movies" clause so any sequel for CW has to be Hallmark - Florence

    1. I love all of their previous movies, so I can’t wait to see whatever they create next. I just hope we get to see the new Christmas Waltz movie this Christmas!

    2. A followup is not a sequel and a followup does not have to be on Hallmark. A followup does not have to have to the previous actors either. They can cast new people/.

  5. Wow, this is exciting news! I know everyone is going to be intrigued by the news of the Christmas Waltz sequel, but I’m mostly excited about A Sound of Christmas movie filmed in Austria! The original is my all time favorite movie. CJ

  6. This is fantastic Christmas movie news!!! I love this couple and the movies they make. Whatever they have a hand in turns to gold and will surely be great! I’ll be waiting to see who they cast as the leads in their new Paris Christmas Waltz movie.

  7. This is really interesting. I did some digging and at this point, Hallmark hasn’t announced any attachment to the Paris Christmas Waltz movie. They might and probably will acquire it, but that is yet to be determined. If Lacey Chabert or Will Kemp were attached to this movie project, then that information likely would have been shared in the Deadline article. Until we are provided more details, it sounds like this so-called sequel is being made independently from the first film and could potentially end up anywhere, including Hallmark, Great American Family, or Netflix. 1. Hallmark hardly ever acquires movies and hardly NEVER acquires Christmas movies because they always make their own. They acquired The Most Colorful Time Of The Year last year and acquired Heart Of The Holidays in 2020 but its very unusual for them to acquire movies let alone Christmas ones. If Hallmark knows what's smart for their business they'll make sure to get Christmas Waltz 2 because the first one was their most watched movie of 2020

  8. They state clearly Paris Christmas Waltz is a follow-up to the original CW.

If it's not Hallmark and doesn't include Lacey and Will then I don't like this.

I personally think in these circumstances they've a cheek cashing in on Hallmark's original movie - Florence

  9. Oh, wow! Great news.

Pretty sure Brad did at least one of the movies for CBS last year, too.

  10. I loved that movie, but if they make a sequel without Lacey and Will, it would take away the sparks of the film.

  11. I would say this movie is a Great American Family movie or a Netflix movie. In his instagram stories when this was announced Michael tagged both Great American Family and Netflix. A tag on instagram is recognizing someone. He did not tag Hallmark at all. Someone posted a picture of it in a gac fan group. So we shall see but I doubt it is for hallmark.

    1. It really could be that there is little connection with the original Christmas Waltz.

A case of wait and see - Florence
