Great American Family released the Winner of their Jingle Bell Bracket today!
And the winner is...
A Christmas... Present
starring Candace Cameron Bure
and Marc Blucas
Congratulations to Candace, Marc, and all of the actors, crew, writer, director, producers, etc... behind this inspiring, faith-filled movie! Based on the winning results, it's obvious that viewers are hungry for stories with a heartwarming message and one that tells the true reason for the Christmas season - Jesus!
I'm so thrilled this movie, in particular, was the ultimate winner over 31 other Christmas movies in the Jingle Bell Bracket! Thank you Great American Family, for this fun Christmas challenge game; I hope you plan to do this again next year!
In the meantime, I know many of us are excited to hear more details about the 21 Christmas movies coming to Great American Family this year! Thus far, the network has announced 2 of their upcoming 21 Christmas movies for 2023 - Royal Christmas Ball, starring Danica McKellar, and Christmas By Chance, starring Trevor Donovan and Merritt Patterson.
I've heard some info regarding Candace Cameron Bure's possible new 2023 Great American Christmas movie, but please know, I am going to wait to share details once her new Christmas movie is officially confirmed and announced through Great American Family. I always try to give the networks time to share the news first; I don't want to spoil this special announcement for them. Hopefully, we will hear something soon!
Have a Merry Day, Everyone!

Candace Cameron Bure Christmas movies on DVD:
Not really surprised, this really is the best movie GAF has made so far. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure her new movie will be fantastic. -Maria
Congratulations Candace and all involved with A Christmas... Present! I think this movie will have a great impact on lives for years to come. Keep creating movies like this Great American Family and you will go far!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteAbout GAF. I read some of the comments about slow timing of new movies. For the negative ones, I hope they remember the expression “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. I can only imagine the amount of capital it takes to start a new network. Hopefully patience will win out. One comment referred to the small amount of movies, especially Christmas ones, that Hallmark started out with. They have had a lot of time to build an elaborate library. Thanks to the efforts of Mr Abbott. Thank you now for your efforts to give us programming we came be comfortable with.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, well said!
DeleteI read that it costs GAF about $2m to make each movie. Unfortunately, according to the people that track these things, GAF only pulled in a little over $2m in revenue for the 4th quarter last year. A network can’t survive with these numbers. Most of GAF’s acquired movies had more veiwiership and higher ratings than both Candace and Danica’s high budget movies.
DeletePerhaps if they wouldn't show TV shows like Murder she wrote and Columbo all week long their viewership go up. I pay extra for GAF and are stuck with shows I could watch for free with an antenna. I had high hopes for this network, but right now the only time I watch it is at Christmas
DeleteI am so happy about this, I too think this was the best Christmas Movie on any channel in 2022. I agree that people are hungry for this type of movie. So looking forward to this coming year and their movies.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see that on DVD. Also The Gift of Peace.
ReplyDeleteSo happy A Christmas...Present won. It was a great movie! We need more movies like this!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a victory for Jesus! Praise God! Thank you Candace and GAF for this movie.
ReplyDeleteCandace's next Christmas movie for GAF is My Christmas Hero! -Maria
