New TV Movies and Marathons this weekend, including "The Wedding Veil," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," and More πŸ“© See Here:

NEW Movies are premiering this weekend, along with THREE terrific Movie Marathons, including one of my favorites (and possibly yours, too!), the beloved series, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered!"

See all the details below...

Saturday, January 21, 2023:

Storyline: In the third movie of the sequel trilogy, Tracy (Sweeney) is now head of the auction house and Nick’s (Webster) restaurant is such a success, he’s looking at expanding. Their success comes at a cost, however, as it gives them little time to see each other. The couple agree to make time for their long-overdue honeymoon. They head to Greece as it’s the perfect place to relax and sightsee. When a travel delay costs the couple their hotel room, they get the opportunity to stay on a remote island nearby. Is it possible the veil is once again working its magic and bringing them exactly where they need to be?

Premieres Saturday, January 21, 2023
at 8pm/7c. on the Hallmark Channel

Sunday, January 22, 2023:

Storyline: Audrey Harper heads to Hope Cove to write about the anonymous Ask Aunt Hope, a love advice column and a mainstay of the town’s local newspaper. There, she meets the charming and handsome Editor-in-Chief Morgan Cooper, who helps her uncover the true identity of “Aunt Hope.”

Premieres Sunday, January 22, 2023
at 7pm/6c. on UPtv

Movie Reviews:

πŸ’• "Extra! Extra! Read All About It! "The Clue to Love" is such a cute rom-com with charming banter that revolves around a newspaper business and stars Rachel Bles (“Cooking Up Love”) as Audrey Harper and Travis Milne (who I just loved as Charlie Baker in “A Gift Wrapped Christmas”) as Morgan Cooper. Both are newspaper reporters; however, Audrey is learning to write her stories with a little more heart, as Morgan, the Editor in Chief, has shown in his award-winning articles. As Audrey shadows Morgan at the Hope Cove Beacon Newspaper, she discovers the identity of the person who writes the infamous local advice column, Ask Aunt Hope, is a secret, and she is determined to figure out who the person is. Morgan and Audrey have wonderful chemistry together, and there’s some interesting tension at the newspaper on whether or not Morgan’s father will sell the family business. Plus, Morgan is beginning to wonder if he can trust Audrey, since she is connected with the big city newspaper that wants to purchase Hope Cove’s small town paper. Overall, here’s my exclusive scoop… "The Clue to Love" is a charming story with a little bit of mystery and heartfelt moments. I do have to caution that there is one brief comment from a male co-worker near the beginning of the movie about his husband. I believe that is the only time this is mentioned." ~Net

πŸ’• "The Clue to Love - There was a comment at the 13 minute mark where a guy says that "our surrogate has gone into labour" and then "my husband....". Other than that comment, the rest of the movie is family friendly." ~Karen

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! If your weather is getting colder, like ours here in the Midwest, keep warm, everyone, and hopefully, you can snuggle up under a cozy blanket and enjoy one of these movies (or more!) this weekend. My #1 recommendation is the Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies that are filled with heartwarming stories, love, friendships, and incredible lost-letter mysteries, that often take a lot of determination and faith to complete.

I'm also looking forward to this last Wedding Veil movie, hoping it is also a good one, like the previous five (mostly). It looks like it will be fun to see the three best friends vacationing together again, this time in Greece.

I have pre-screened the new UPtv movie, The Clue to Love. It is such a cute movie, and I like both of the leads very much, but there was one brief comment of caution. Please be sure to read my and Karen's reviews above.

Unfortunately, there isn't a new movie on Great American Family this weekend; however, the network will still be airing rom-coms from 12pm-10pm on Saturday and a marathon of Columbo mysteries on Sunday.

Plus, Hallmark Drama will have their own marathon on Sunday with the family series, The Waltons.

Are there one or more movies (or marathons) you are looking forward to seeing this weekend? Be sure to share in the comments below.

Please Note: I haven't pre-screened the new Wedding Veil movie. If you'd like to post a review on whether this film is family-friendly, please share in comments. Thank you so much to those of you who take the time to share.

Disclaimer: Please know when I share a movie, this is NOT an endorsement of any of the actors involved, personally or professionally, with their other TV/film projects.

Happy movie-watching!

Blessings to you all, Net

  1. I can't wait to see the next Wedding Veil movie!!! Will she have baby news as well, or will they perhaps adopt?? They do show a child with the in the photo... Hope it's family friendly.

And I just adore SSD! Own them all on dvd. I heard they were planning on making one more. Wonder when that will be??

Thanks for the warning Karen and Net. I will be passing on that one. Have a great rest of the week!

  2. I'm happy with this line-up for it gives us a chance to hopefully watch four "new" Christas movies as |I won't be watching the new movies.

I personally didn't see any need for the Wedding Veil sequels and while I did quite like The Clue To Love I thought it was just a tad too slow - but it's certainly worth a watch and it's good that its finally being aired on one of the mainstream channels - Florence

    1. Just a thought. If you can jet across the world at a drop of a hat multiple times in a short period of time, why would you not be able to support a child in a reasonable education program. Is this just the world of excess.

The Wedding Veil Journey is the best of the 3 and might be the best of the 6 in my opinion. Loved this one! Unless I totally missed something it is family friendly. This one is different and will pull at your heart strings! Alison and Victor are both great, but Alison shows her true range of acting in this movie! She's always been one of my favorites and she does not disappoint here!

  7. Warning!! The Hannah Swenson Mystery shows a woman in the bathtub. So if you have young men(and boys) in your family who enjoy watching mysteries with you(like mine), you might want to fast forward that scene.

  8. Checked the schedule 2 weeks from now, I know the title of 1 of UP TV's new movies for February: The Happy Camper (based off the Melody Carlson book by the same name).

Any idea when the rest of the schedule will be released? Just seems a bit odd to not have it up by now. -Maria

    1. Maria, That's right. Promos for "The Happy Camper" were aired over the weekend; it will premiere on February 5th.

"Luckless in Love" (from Reel One Entertainment) is currently scheduled to premiere on February 12th. I have both movies listed in the New Movie Post here:

  9. WEDDING VEIL JOURNEY

(Family Friendly) OK so I watched the trailer numerous times before watching this, and it just didn't seem very intriguing to me. It was sitting in my DVR for days until I finally got to watch it, and boy, the trailer really didn't do its justice AT ALL. I thought this wouldn't top the Inspiration one, but I can confidently say this was my favorite of all 6 Wedding Veil movies (say whaaaat?!). I would never have thought that a post-marriage movie sequel would top the first one.

Personally, I think that a good movie can simply make me laugh and move my heart at the same time. This was so very well written and directed, but the writing was especially amazing. Heartbreaking in a way, made me chuckle and engaged the whole time, with a beautiful ending of course. The characters are just lovely and made you root for them. I love how they all interact, especially Tracy and Nick. I just loved how sweet, kind and understanding Nick was to Tracy. So loving, but not in a cheesy way. I loved how Nick stood up for Tracy when the headmaster was yelling at her. Really, really wonderful acting by Ali Sweeney, Victor Webster, and the boy Leo. Loved, loved this one so much!

  10. Wow! What a great film!! Family friendly. It was a treat seeing this one. The first movie is still my favorite, but this was Allison's best out of the 6 movie series. I enjoyed all of it, the friendly people, scenery and of course the lovely friendship of the three ladies. I will wait until the next 3 are on dvd, then I'll buy! I know it's probably not going to happen but I would so love to see more! I really want to see Avery driving that mini van with little kiddos. ;)

    1. Florence, Wow! Those ratings numbers are rather shocking. There was so much promotion for these movies this time around, and I think they started promoting them as far back as November during the Christmas movies. I really thought the first movie would have better ratings since Kevin McGarry has a lot of fans. That is very interesting. Thank you so much for sharing those numbers.

  12. I think tonight we will watch either Ghost of Christmas Always or Maple Valley Christmas. Or maybe both. Maybe a marathon and include Three Wise Men and a Baby, A Big Fat Family Christmas and Hanukkah on Rye.
