This is a wonderful week to honor our country's patriotism with Election Day and Veteran's Day! On this Election Day, November 8th, 2022, I know many of us are praying earnestly for the future of America.
As Americans, we are truly blessed to live in a country where we are free, and I pray we never take that for granted. I was taken by the image of the American flag pictured above and the light shining on it from the heavens. Whenever I see Old Glory raised, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and belonging, grateful for all the generations that came before us so we can live in freedom today!
If you need more information on your state and local elections, then I recommend the website, My Faith Votes. You'll find excellent details on which candidates you'll see on your local ballot, plus candidate comparison voter guides. I found it to be very helpful for my state/county.

Agreed Maria! Praying for God's mercy today for protection for all the unborn babies out there. Prayers for our government to become a Christian nation again and.for the votes to be in favor of the Republican party.

Abigail, my heart is broken for all the millions of babies who have been killed, who never saw the light of day. I am grieved for the children who have been and still are being trafficked all over the world. Oftentimes I wonder how we can keep enjoying life with all this evil taking place here in our nation.

I'm sorry kitkat, I didn't see your post until just now. But you are so right! Everyday God's name is more erased. There are so many children and adults who have never heard of our Savior. I pray as the Christmas hymns are on the radio, the people who sing and hear the words, the Holy Spirit will come into their hearts! I pray for our country to be a Christian nation again. And if it's not His will, I pray for Him to return and rebuild the earth with His glory! A perfect, sinless world.
