πŸŽ„ BYUtv Christmas Programming - 2022! πŸŽ„ SEE HERE:

I was recently looking through BYUtv's schedule, and I noticed three Christmas movies that are new to TV. Sure the movies are also available via streaming, too, but I thought I would share their premiere dates on BYU, just in case you would prefer to watch there.

Also, if any of you are a fan of the Malory Towers TV series, as I am, they will also have a new one-hour Christmas special coming up this December!

Here are the details...

Thursday, December 1, 2022:

Christmas with Felicity 7pm/6c.

Storyline: After failing in business and in love, a downtrodden Felicity Olson moves back home with one goal: make enough money to reclaim her life in Chicago. But when a handsome, Christmas-loving dairy farmer inspires her to start a new baking business, their connection challenges Felicity to find the positive in life and rekindle her holiday spirit once again.

Margot commissions her friend, a local artist, Christian, to paint a picture of the house as a keepsake. But soon, they hatch a plan to keep the house she loves.

All of the Christmas movies above say on BYU's website they previously aired on BYU on November 1st, but typically when a movie airs for the first time on BYU, the streaming source becomes available soon after, and all of these movies won't be available for streaming until they air on the dates I provided above. So, did they all air on November 1st? I'm not sure. Did any of you happen to catch any of these movies that day, or was this a misprint? Whatever the case, I hope you'll be able to watch on these premiere dates in December.

You'll also want to keep a look out for the beloved BYU Christmas movie classic, Christmas Jars. This movie encores Sunday, December 4th at 10pm/9c. and Monday, December 5th at 3am/2c. and 1pm/12c.

Now, I must also tell you there may be more to come on BYU. They have, in the past, updated their schedule last minute and added more movies near Christmas, so you may want to keep a close check if you are interested. And if you catch anything at all, please share with us.

Happy Christmas Movie Watching! Net

  1. Thanks for the info. Net.

I actually now have a list of 120 (yes, really) Christmas movies to watch this year (most will actually be watched in 2023) so thankfully these won't add to it as I've seen them all already, even Hudson where the hero is a widower.

The heroine in Christmas With Felicity was a bit annoying at first but she improved as the movie progressed.

As far as I can remember, they're all family-friendly and they're pretty solid Rom.Coms worth a watch.

A Cape Cod Christmas was probably my favourite - Florence

  2. A Cape Cod Christmas aired last year on another channel...it was a very quiet/calm movie...much like Love Stories in Sunflower Valley. No bad language, two kisses, mention of someone having a reputation (cleared up later in story), mention of bringing wine to dinner (for those concerned about this), use of the word magic. Regarding the story, the "requisite" misunderstanding is dealt with almost immediately, which I happen to appreciate. Also, the tender love story is unrushed and is amplified by quiet flashbacks. Main character possibly lies to cover up lack of progress in work, which is disappointing. Extra points for mentioning the book Anne of Green Gables and L.M. Montgomery! On the whole, to be recommended.
