I think it's interesting all of ION's Christmas movies will have a mystery theme. What do you think? Please share in comments below...

  1. I finally got ION this year. I wonder if they're going to play the Christmas movies from last year again this year like Hallmark does with their old movies.

  4. I am guessing this was intentional to bring attention to the rebranding of a network to ionmystery in February 2022. https://ionmystery.com/

  6. I'm intrigued by this line-up - they all actually sound good on paper.

Jonothan Stoddard is in A Prince And Pauper Christmas - Florence

  7. I'm a fan of both Christmas movies and of mysteries. That's why I subscribed to a higher tier on cable, to get Hallmark Movies and Mysteries (HMM).

I recently moved. In my old location, ION was a standard definition (SD) only channel. There was a second ION channel that disappeared last year, i.e., before last Christmas movie season.

After my move and my cable subscription along with it, both ION channels are missing from the SD section of my channel list, but I found the main ION channel in the HD section of channels. This will be a boon for watching ION Christmas movies henceforth since the picture quality before wasn't great (not to mention the cropped images for SD broadcast).

  8. I wished they played their movies on more than just the weekend. It's so hard to keep up with all the channels, especially when some, like ION, don't play them at more accessible times. I've had ION for years, but I rarely get to watch their movies.

  9. Dognapped: Hound for the Holidays. One part early in movie is not family friendly. I deleted the movie so I don't know about the rest of it. The main actress is on a phone call with her mother about coming home for Christmas and bringing a friend to stay. The mother says "[She] can stay in your sister's old room, she can't come home this year because she's headed to Florida with her new girlfriend to meet her family". Main actress says "Ah! It must be serious.". And the mother says "Finally!! And are you seeing anyone special?"

    1. The second movie you are referring to is Snowmance, starring Ashley Newbrough, Jesse Hutch, and Adam Hurtig.

That movie aired on Great American Family this Christmas season. According to their current schedule, they are playing it one more time on January 1st at 4am. Hope you can catch it or record it then.
