See the Christmas Movie Schedule for times and dates for when you can see all of these new Christmas movies and more!!!
Christmas movies begin this Friday... stay tuned!
🎄💕 Have a Merry Day!!! Net 💕🎄
Love this Net :)
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what GAC plans on playing all day? I can't see them having enough content with the movies from last year and then adding 1 new one a week with the new movies. Is it too much to hope that they are acquiring some more older movies? On my Directv guide, it only shows "movie" in place of all the times except for the brand new premiers. I am hoping they can fill the slots with some older movies and not just the same old movies from last year. They would be on likely twice a day, every day, til the new movies filled in a little.

I like to check TitanTv for listings. Looks like the current schedule is Christmas movies all day on the weekend, but sitcoms all day during the week, except for 2 morning movie slots each day (titles yet to be determined), and evening movies, also undetermined, on Friday. Who knows how they might change it all, though!

I have Dish and on my guide I can see that there are more than just the movies from last year. They are having new ones starting the 21st, and even some old ones on GAC. It shows 'movie' on my guide, but if I use my On-TV guide, I can see the titles.
DeleteI totally agree with Sabrina above -- would LOVE to see GAC fill in the empty daytime slots with older Christmas movies or even just older classics for family winter-ish movies. I've been shying away from Hallmark and would prefer not to watch their movies anymore. Thank you for your excellent blog!

I have Sling TV and they have acquired some other movies to help fill it up! They are playing their movies quite a bit on repeat but they also have some other ones. Right now, Sling is showing A Hot Cocoa Christmas, both of the old Mrs. Miracle movies(❤️!), A Match Made at Christmas, The Spruces and the Pines, Merry Kissmas, Snowmance, Christmas Angel, Christmas Crush and Christmas Carolina. That is what I can see so far on GAF!
DeleteChristmas movies 24/7
DeleteI have recently wondered the same thing. Here is what I can see on my Guide: A Hot Cocoa Christmas, 2 movies from Debbie Macomber that aired on GFAM earlier this year: Mrs. Miracle from 2009 and Call Me Mrs. Miracle from 2010, and other movies that I believe may have aired earlier this year: A Match Made at Christmas from 2021, Christmas in Carolina from 2020, and The Spruces and the Pines originally from ION in 2017. Merry Kissmas from ION in 2015 and Snowmance from ION in 2017 may have previously aired on GFAM and will air soon. Christmas Angel (says it is the one from 2012, but the two versions have been mixed up on my GUIDE before) will also air. These take us to Monday, 10/24. Like you, I see some MOVIE placements after that.
DeleteIt looks like GAC is just playing over and over and over and over again its same movies from last year 24/7. I want to watch and support this channel but i cant watch the same movies over and over with 1 new movie a week put in the line up. I want GAC to succeed but I am not sure how with this daily same movies. 12 movies is a 24 hour period and that is how many new movies they had last year. And the few others they acquired pretty much means you watch the same movies daily.
DeleteSabrina
During the summer they filled it with other movies they bought the rights to. Some movies originally aired on Hallmark but their rights have expired. For example Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle is on FAC Family.
DeleteSara S. You have forgotten about A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale (2015) - Starring Jonathan Bennett, Lexi Giovagnoli, Dina Meyer, & Patrick Muldoon & The Christmas Calendar (2017) - Starring Brendon Zub & Laura Bell Bundy. It’s aired on ION. The Christmas Swap (20’18) - starring Jackie Seidan it’s aired on UPTV, The Christmas Crush (2019) - Starring Cindy Sampson, Robin Dunne, Chris Violette
DeleteI haven’t seen A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale. It’s aired on GAC/GAFAM late morning so, it’s recording both A Dogwalker’s Christmas Tale & The Christmas Calendar
What a great mix of movies. I love how you ended it with the family holding hands around the table. We don't often see praying in Hallmark movies any more. That would be nice if that was the case here.
ReplyDeleteOh fun! I was just looking ahead to some of Hallmark's first movies.... What do you all think about the photos for "We Wish You a Married Christmas?" A couple of them are making me go hmmmm. Also, on IMDb, two male actors whom I don't recognize are placed first in the cast list, above Marisol and Kris, which seems awfully odd.

Alicia, I had the same feeling when I looked at the pictures. I can't be for certain, but I'm definitely wondering.
DeleteI gotta watch Christmas movies on GAC/GAFAM first & then I’m recording Christmas movies at 5pm & 7pm PT on Hallmark. Since GAC Christmas movies at 5pm & 7pm PT last year.
ReplyDeleteOn Hallmark, 3 Christmas movies to air at 3pm, 5pm, & 7pm PT instead there’s no airing week of Thanksgiving since they always aired on Thanksgiving week every years instead they haven’t air Christmas movies on Weekdays but it’s Fridays only.
Who portrayed Maya, Paul’s Daughter on The Christmas Present?
ReplyDeleteNet, these pictures make me excited for Christmas movies to begin. I have tried to keep my expectations low so I won't be disappointed when a movie isn't wholesome.
ReplyDeleteAllie B, yes, yes, yes! More praying and things of the Lord.
I was looking at pictures for We Wish You A Married Christmas and it looks like there could be a gay couple. I’m hoping I’m wrong because I was looking forward to another Kris Polaha movie and have my DVR already set, but I’m rethinking watching it. Anyone know if we can confirm my suspicions before Saturday?
ReplyDeleteI also saw those pictures you are referring to. I haven't seen any other info regarding this, but sadly, I believe it is a definite possibility.
DeleteI’ll be watching my friends on GAF’s Destined At Christmas which is on at the same time, so I’ll keep Kris’s movie set to record and then I can watch it later if it’s safe.
DeleteOh this makes me so sad. Kristoffer Polaha is one of my favorites. How disappointing to not be able to watch his film because of inappropriate content. But I’m not going to sit and watch that, no matter who the star is. 😢

I want to see Christmas Bedtime Stories. I adore Erin Cahill and love the Christmas American hero Soldier films. Need to remember to pray for safety and courage for them and their families more often and be grateful for their sacrifice for us. Must be hard to be separated during Christmastime.
ReplyDeletefantastic photos
ReplyDeleteION announced today that their 4 new movies will begin airing each week from November 20th to December 11. And they will all be mystery/crime centric movies. -Maria
ReplyDeleteI hope in the last picture they are saying thanks to the Lord. It's sad how many children and even adults don't know how everyone and everything comes from Him..I agree with you Allie B, it would be very nice!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or is it odd to see a woman at the head at that table?
Sorry, got cut off there. Meant to continue about the women at the head of the table. It would be odd if she was at the head if her husband was there as well.
ReplyDeleteI was looking through GAF's schedule for next week up to the end of this month, and I spied some new aquired titles in the lineup! -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, Yeah, fortunately, most of the acquired movies look like ones previously shown on ION and UPtv, except A Christmas Wish In Hudson. I believe this will be it's first airing on TV. Wonder why they chose Thursday, October 27th at 8am/7c.???
DeleteI will be sure to add it to the list. Did you see any others like this - that haven't premiered before on TV?
WARNING ALERT
ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely aghast to see GAC airing A Puppy For Christmas with Cindy Busby and Greyston Holt on Saturday 29 October.
This is definitely not family friendly.
At the start the lead actress is co-habiting with her then boyfriend and in one scene (quite lengthy) the hero is drunk - Florence
A Puppy for Christmas acquired from UPTV will air at 4pm ET/1pm on October 29, 2022 on GAC/GAFAM
DeleteI am also quite surprised to see A Puppy For Christmas in their lineup, too. It sounds cute and the official DVD cover is adorable, but I agree, it is not a family-friendly film.
DeleteI actually have a review I wrote for this movie back in 2016 when it premiered, that you can read here...
https://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2016/11/a-puppy-for-christmas-up-premiere-cindy-busby.html
Oops, I mean “A Puppy for Christmas”, at 4am ET/1am PT on GAC/GAFAM on October 29, 2022, not 4pm ET/1pm PT
DeleteI notice The Christmas Calendar on GAC/GAFAM as they acquired from ION
ReplyDeleteChristmas Wish in Hudson too
I wonder GAC/GAFAM acquired Random Acts of Christmas from Lifetime
Starring Kevin McGarry & Erin Cahill
It is with great disappointment I write a negative review of the new Hallmark movie- Noel Next Door. I stopped watching when the main characters (Jeremy and Noelle) meet at a drug store. Noelle presses the fact she is purchasing a feminine hygiene product to Jeremy, a man she recently met. Why not be purchasing wrapping paper or a Hallmark Christmas card? This is the character she will have a romantic interest. Hallmark -it’s a Christmas movie. On a positive note, the children were very good actors and far better than the “adults”. Oh, well maybe the next one will be better.
ReplyDelete-Gabe’s Mom
Gabe’s Mom, Jeremy met Noelle at where she works as a waitress - To Go bag. Later, they bump into each other in the Drug Store. Jeremy with a young lady named Hailey waiting where Noelle works. Jeramy & Noelle talking each other. Jeremy asks someone if Noelle is still working unless Noelle gives him her number.
