It's the first weekend in October... the season of pumpkin patches, Autumn harvest, leaves turning, flannel shirts and blankets, campfires and s'mores, and so much more. For those of us, who experience the season in all of it's colorful splendor, it is such a beautiful time of year.

Unfortunately, for our friends in Florida and the islands nearby, it's also the season for hurricanes; plus, storms are moving along the Carolinas and up the eastern coast.
