I'm so excited to share - GAC Family will be celebrating Christmas in July during the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend - with 24/7 Holiday Programming!!! GAC hinted awhile back that they were planning something special for this event, so I've been looking forward to hearing and sharing this news once it became official.
This afternoon (Wednesday, June 15th) GAC Family posted this message to their followers on social media:
"🎄 We are thrilled to announce our FIRST ever #GreatAmericanChristmas In July! Celebrate Christmas early with us, Independence Weekend, as our 24/7 Christmas Movie Weekend event kicks off on JULY 2! Follow us for more details!"
(Click the play button below to watch the new Christmas promo from GAC Family! May take a few seconds or more to load.)
Stay tuned for schedule details!
According to a GAC comment on Twitter, "All 12 original (GAC Family Christmas) movies will be playing plus a handful of acquired movies that are new to #GACfamilyTV! 🎄"
Joyous Blessings to you all! Net

This is great news! I missed one or two of their movies at Christmas, so I'll definitely be tuning in for this.
ReplyDeleteWonder what the "handful of acquired movies" will be???
ReplyDeleteI love this! -Maria
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am so hoping some of the acquired movies are the Larry Levinson movies Hallmark doesnt play. I have so many I am hoping it can be. I am so excited about this.

I soooo agree with you! Larry Levinson movies are the best uplifting movies out there. It’s too bad Hallmark parted ways with his studio. Maybe GAC Family could partner with him for some uplifting family friendly movies.

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to this too. The GAC Family Christmas movies have joyful stories and were beautiful to watch. The Christmas decorations with the lights and landscapes were stunning.
ReplyDeleteI too am interested in the movies they are acquiring. Saw the Larry Levinson mention and decided to look up his movies. Lo and behold there was one of my all time favorites The Thanksgiving House, haven't seen it on Hallmark in a number of years.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!
ReplyDeleteGot some additional news on Christmas in July on GAC: Jen Lilley will be hosting the event, and there will be sneak peaks at new movies coming this fall! -Maria
