Christmas movie details:

A Christmas Detour: Two NYC bound travelers find themselves inextricably linked when a freak snowstorm waylays their CHRISTMAS plans to an overcrowded airport hotel in Buffalo.

Christmas Under Wraps: When a driven doctor doesn’t get the prestigious job she planned for, she unexpectedly finds herself moving to a remote Alaskan town. She soon warms to the friendly town & it's cast of characters but suspects it's hiding one big holiday secret.

Journey Back to Christmas: A WWII era nurse is transported in time to 2016 and meets a man who helps her discover the bonds of family and that the true meaning of Christmas is timeless.

Switched For Christmas: When identical twins Kate and Chris Lockhart swap lives, the lessons they learn along the way may turn out to make this the best Christmas ever.

Which Candace Cameron Bure Christmas movie is your favorite from this bunch? My pick from this 4 would have to be A Christmas Detour, but I always enjoy the others, too, and I would love to hear your favorite choice in comments below.

Blessings on your day! Net

  1. I like Christmas Under Wraps but the best of these for me is A Christmas Detour.

It'a a real hoot from start to finish.

I think part of what makes it so great is that the secondary plot is almost as good as the main one and Sarah Strange and David Lewis are so funny and give Candace and Paul a real run for their money - Florence

  2. I already have all of these movies and pretty much love all of them. I do have to agree with you though Net, I think my favorite is A Christmas Detour! I just love the chemistry between Candace Cameron Bure and Paul Greene!

  3. Ooooh, this looks so amazing! I loved all 4 of these, but I think Journey Back is my favorite out of these. (with Switched For being a close 2nd!).

Is there any other way to get Journey Back to Christmas on DVD? I already have 2 of the movies listed here. -Maria

    1. Maria, Amazon has Journey Back to Christmas individually, but the price is $45 and up and most copies are used. Ebay also has a variety of offers, as well. Most are pre-owned on there, as well, at $25 and up.

    1. Chris, Yes, this is a DVD re-release. I noticed some people are trying to sell the original for $50 or more on-line at Ebay, etc... That markup is awful, but I guess with higher expenses these days people are just trying to get what they can.

I'm glad, however, they are re-releasing it - so more people can purchase it at a reasonable price.

Hope you are enjoying your DVD collection!

    2. Christmas Under Wraps
    3. A Christmas Detour
    4. Switched for Christmas

  6. Well, I love all Candace's movies, especially the early years! Guess I'd have to pick Switched as #1 since it has Natasha and double the fun with Candace!

  7. I like A Christmas Detour best here, but Christmas Town is my favorite. Sure hope Candace can create movies just as good at GAC. Her last couple on HC were my least favorite of hers.
