GAC Family Announces Trevor Donovan and Merritt Patterson to star in Jingle Bell Princess!

Today, via countrymusicalley.com, GAC Family announced their newest Christmas movie, Jingle Bell Princess, starring Trevor Donovan and Merritt Patterson! This all new royal-themed holiday movie will premiere Saturday, December 4, 2021 as part of GAC Family’s “Great American Christmas!”

This is the storyline via GAC Family at
countrymusicalley.com:

"The setting is Down east, as we head to Maine for this romantic and sweet Christmas yarn.

An actual princess has some mechanical issues and is temporarily grounded. Does she have time for a lobster roll? It is Christmas time in Maine which means snow, quaint scenery, and lots of Christmas lights near the ocean. With the crew distracted attending to the repair, Princess Amelia deplanes to walk through a magical Christmas tree lot near the airport perimeter.

Soon she crosses paths with a man named Harley and his charming dog, Storm. In a classic case of mixed communications and crew failure to secure the royal package—being Amelia—she learns the plane was repaired and then took off without her on board. Someone is getting fired.

Making matters more complicated, now a massive New England-sized snowstorm sets upon the area, and all air traffic in and out of Tucker, Maine, comes to a halt.

All of these events mean Amelia may miss Christmas in her father’s kingdom. However, this snowbound royal catastrophe turns into an unforgettable holiday as Amelia is invited to the home of airline employee Annie Cutler and her handsome son, Sam (Donovan).

The classic tale of two classes emerges as Sam is a commoner. She’s a proper royal. Still, this Christmas and Amelia’s unlikely meet cute during the rush of the holidays may be a hidden treasure for this momentarily abandoned princess."

Look for "Jingle Bell Princess" Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 8pm/7c. on GAC Family!

  1. Merritt Patterson at GAC Family also now. I love it. She is one of my favorites.

I don't understand how these competing channels do all this. How can these channels allow their employees (actors) to work at a direct competitor? It must be some contractual thing with the Screen Actors Guild or something. It would be like Google allowing their employees to work for them and Microsoft at the same time. Makes no sense to me.

    Description
Accidentally abandoned and stranded by a raging blizzard in the picturesque town of Tucker, Maine, Crown Princess Jasmine Arcules finds herself alone and unguarded for the first time in her life. Meanwhile, widower Sam Cutler is dreading the Christmas season. Struggling to be a good father to his nine-year-old twin daughters, he's wracked with guilt and battling painful memories. The last thing he needs is a beautiful stranger invading his world. Jasmine keeps her royal identity secret, so Sam treats her the way no man in her native country ever would – a country where speaking to Jasmine out of turn could result in jail time. But Jasmine has a knack for getting past Sam's defenses, comforting his daughters, arousing his suppressed emotions, and forcing him to remember he's a man... Both Sam and Jasmine need each other, but can they trust in Christmas magic to bring their hearts together?

    1. Thank you for your question. I'm just as curious about this as you are. I've reached out to ask about the GAC Family movies coming to DVD, but so far, I've received the response (paraphrasing here) that they would like to see this in the future, but nothing was set in stone.

As for contacting GAC about programming, they have a contact form on their web-site. You can also sign up for their newsletters here:

I hope that helps a little!

  16. Good morning

I would like to ask all the It's A Wonderful Movie readers to please call the GAC number and request that they put Angel Falls Christmas and The Great Christmas Switch on DVD. I did but I am from Canada so I am not sure how much weight my request will garner!! So I would appreciate if all those that live in the US and follow this blog would do that even if u did not like the movies as much as some of the others. I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you
