More Christmas Movie Images & Posters to come!

Stay tuned!

*I also want to include a caution here. At this point, we don't know which movies will be family-friendly. I'm hoping there will still be many, but at this time, we just don't know. Throughout the Christmas Season I will do my best to inform you if there is a storyline of concern, and if any of you who follow here catch something - please be sure to share in comments!

Also, be sure to check out the Christmas movies coming to the Hallmark Channel - *HERE*!

  2. I will look forward to the HMM movies, GAC and maybe Lifetime. I don't watch the regular HM channel anymore so I dont know how well I will watch many of those movies. Hoping HMM will still play the older movies and maybe HM Drama will as well.

  3. I think that the movie that I am looking forward seeing out of this group is The Christmas Bond.

  4. Every Time a Bell Rings may be a Hallmark Movies Now app premiere.

    1. Ashley, thank you! I added in that information above - it's really surprising they decided to only air this movie there. Wonder if they will bring it to one of the networks during the Christmas season, like Christmas day, or something? That would be nice.

  5. Is The Christmas Bond based on a true story?

    1. Chris, The Christmas Bond is inspired by Holly's real-life situation with her son having autism, but the story is fiction.

  6. I really enjoyed the Mrs. Miracle book this movie is based on.

I read on EW that Every Time A Bell Rings is airing on HMN.

Looking forward to so many of these.

    1. Denise, Thank you! I updated the information above about Every Time A Bell Rings airing on Hallmark Movies Now after seeing Hallmark's actual press release. Parade.com has it listed for HMM, and like you said, it is definitely premiering on HMN. I'm surprised no one has corrected them - since, I believe, they were the first to reveal the Christmas movie news.

    2. EW was supposed to have the exclusive, but Parade seemed to have dropped the info first. People had the same info as Parade.

  7. The Christmas Promise with Torrey DeVitto and Dylan Bruce looks the most promising to me plus it also includes Greyston Holt and Patrick Duffy - Florence

  8. So if we don't have HMN, we won't be able to see Every Time A Bell Rings? That makes me so sad.

  9. Do you watch the HMN app on your TV or your computer? So Every Time A Bell Rings is only if you pay for the app?

    1. Amy, That's right. "Every Time A Bell Rings" will be exclusive to HMN streaming subscribers. I was disappointed, too.

I paid for HMN when When Hope Calls first came there. Then they ended up playing it on TV, so I'm going to wait and hope they play this, too, at some point.

  10. I hope Hallmark add more Christmas movies on HMM

  11. There's a shot of Eloise Mumford on the HMM Christmas Trailer so it looks as if her Christmas movie is being shown there and not on the main channel - Florence

  12. Very, very interesting.

Is this a sIgn of the times?

Eloise Mumford and Brett Dalton are only listed third and fourth in the cast listing for One December Night.

The picture for the movie on the HMM website shows only two older men.

Looks like this might not be family friendly - Florence

  13. Florence, I think we should wait to see if One December Night is family-friendly. From what I've read, it's about the two kids (Mumford/Dalton) managing the reunion performance of their aging, rock-star fathers, which will involve the restoration of a father/daughter relationship and friendship between the two men. Perhaps the older men are pictured w/ guitars and featured together because they're bigger names in television? I try not to make assumptions, because getting us all to assume that every relationship is homosexual is exactly what those pushing our cultural demise want. Fingers crossed it's a good movie! :-)

  14. The Christmas Promise

    Family-friendly: Yes
    Keeper? Yes

A rather serious topic - the death of a fiancΓ© - is handled well but in an entertaining way. The always-enjoyable (to me, anyway) Torrey DeVitto does a good job in portraying someone who is in conflict, grieving over the loss of her loved one while falling for a new guy. And Patrick Duffy (from Dallas fame - cue the theme music!) is always good in his supporting roles. A keeper for me!

    1. Mark 25, Great review! I'm a fan of Torrey DeVitto, too. I never miss "Write Before Christmas!"

Also, loved your reference to Patrick Duffy and Dallas! I could totally hear the theme music. Plus, to me - he'll always be the Step by Step dad, Frank Lambert.

Good to hear you found this one to be a keeper!

  15. I don’t want to be repetitive but I thought I would post a comment on this thread as well as the review thread. Sadly, “Every Time a Bell Rings” is most definitely not family friendly. A prominent character is a lesbian and actively pursues another woman during the course of the film ending with a kiss. The film was shot about 1/2 an hour from where we live and they held a special showing for the Natchez residents. I was so disappointed when I heard this. I love Wes Brown and Erin Cahill but not enough to choose to watch such sinful behavior. For those of you who would be interested in watching, be warned.
