Welcome a little Christmas Before Easter! #POstables #Hallmarkies SEE HERE:

We are just days away now from Easter Sunday! My goodness... time has flown by so fast this year. But first, we are going to celebrate with a little Christmas. At Christmastime we celebrate the birth of Jesus and on Easter, we celebrate Christ's resurrection!

Unfortunately, neither Hallmark Christmas movie airing this week shows the true meaning with the nativity story, but if you listen closely, I'm sure you'll hear a Christmas carol that proclaims Jesus' birth, like Joy to the World
or Hark! The Herald Angels Sing! ♪

Thursday, April 1, 2021:

Storyline: Sheriff Gage McBride and the residents of tiny Christmas, Colorado work to convince resort developer Madison Lane to build her company’s newest resort nearby, which will save the struggling town. Workaholic Madison finds herself falling for the charming town, as well as the kind and handsome widowed sheriff.

    1. Thank you so much, Sabrina, for sharing that! Oh my goodness - they totally changed that last minute, didn't they? On Monday it was still Evergreen when I created this post in advance. Plus, it looks like they changed the start time back to 8pm/7c. on Friday nights, too.

They hadn't been changing the schedule around - as much lately, so I didn't expect this last minute change. I wonder if they picked a Paul Greene Christmas movie to coincide with promoting WCTH Sunday, since it's possibly going to be a big show for him, a potential pivotal moment for his character with the surgery on Ned.

I'm so happy to see this change too! I quickly changed the info above - thank you again!!! :)

    2. I think they also changed the Deliver for Christmas movie on HMM to Holly Lodge. I usually end up thinking when Hallmark changes something it is for something woke, but maybe you are right and it is for Paul Greene and WCTH. I was surprised they didn't play A Cookie Cutter Christmas yet. They should. I am not sure when the WCTH finale is (hope it is not for a long time) but it would be nice if they played movies with all WCTH actors. especially since they are usually the movies people like anyway.

    3. Sabrina, Yeah, isn't that strange they took off the other airing of "Deliver by Christmas" too?!?! In the beginning they were playing it twice and now not at all. Very odd.

After you pointed out the change with "A Christmas Detour," I quickly checked yesterday to see if there were other changes besides that and the time change to 8pm/7c. - and that's when I noticed "Deliver by Christmas" was gone and they changed April 30th to "Christmas in Vienna."

It is strange they took off "Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing," since Rukiya Bernard stars in that and the new premiere Saturday night, "One Perfect Wedding." I was sure they were playing that Christmas movie with her to promote her new Spring movie. Very interesting.

I guess they are back to changing up the schedule again and we'll have to always be on the lookout for these changes.

  5. Hallmark Channel Fans Sound off After 'Home & Family' Cancellation

Hallmark Channel morning talk show Home & Family was recently announced as being canceled by the network, and fans are sounding off online. In a statement published last week by Variety, a Hallmark Channelspokesperson shared the news and expressed the network's gratitude to everyone involved in bringing the show into viewers' homes every day. "The ninth and current season of Home & Family will be the series’ last," the statement began.

"For nearly a decade, the show has anchored our daytime lineup, featuring countless hours of cooking, lifestyle, DIY, health, entertaining and decorating segments," the statement added. "We want to thank the heart and soul of the show, our incredibly talented cast and crew — led by co-hosts Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison — for their creativity, hard work and dedication." The Home & Family series finale is currently scheduled to air Wednesday, Aug. 4.

Even though there are still a few months leftof the show, fans are not loving this news. Many are taking to Twitter — as well as Facebook — to voice their frustration and confusion over the decision. Scroll down to read what they are saying, and let us know in the comments if you'll miss Home & Family.

"I love Home and Family, and was excited they were finally returning! I love Cameron and the cooking segments especially," one fan wrote in a Facebook comment.

"I loved this show and hosts. A wholesome show the whole family could watch. Sorry they did not renew as it was very good," someone else said.

I love this show and so sorry to read of its cancellation. Hoping Hallmark revisits the decision," another fan offered.

"I love the show. Sad to see they canceled it. Love getting all the ideas for crafts and cooking and thing for home. Will be truly missed," one more fan said.
"Hallmark, please tell us why are you not renewing Home and Family," someone asked. "We love everyone that is on [there], from crafts, plants and animals [to] cooking. [There's] great people who bring laughter to us all," a fan commented

"Oh NO, I love that show," a Facebook user exclaimed. "I have missed it not being on during the pandemic. So so sad."

"I wondered why I haven't seen it on lately! Now we know!" one last fan wrote.

    1. Will Jesse Metcalf's character in Chesapeake Shores die in his final episode of Chesapeake Shores since Jesse Metcalf is resigning Chesapeake Shores?

    2. Chris, I sure hope not. That would be truly devastating for CS fans. Hopefully Trace will just leave to explore his music career.

    3. Are there any Autumn Reeser Hallmark Movies in your DVD Collection? The only Autumn Reeser Hallmark movie that I have in my DVD Collection is A Bramble House Christmas.

    4. Chris, I have two favorite Autumn Reeser movies on DVD - Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade and A Country Wedding! I also love Christmas Under the Stars, but I don't have the DVD yet. I'm hoping A Glenbrooke Christmas will be released this year!
