In a Good HouseKeeping exclusive - Hallmark reveals: "The Wedding Veil trilogy, starring Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney and Autumn Reeser, will "follow three close but far-flung college friends who, during one of their annual trips together, discover an enchanted antique that changes each of their lives." Kevin McGarry, who plays Nathan on Hallmark's When Calls the Heart, is also set to appear in the movies, but it's unclear who he'll play — a love interest, perhaps?"

The movies are loosely inspired from a book by author Lori Wilde.

Lacey Chabert will be taking on duel roles in this movie series, as an actress and executive producer.

Production recently began on this series - on April 12th. Kevin McGarry shared in a podcast that he would be working with Lacey, which leaves one to wonder if they will be love interests in the The Wedding Veil trilogy. Guess we will have to wait and see... the movies will premiere on the Hallmark Channel in 2022, but we'll probably receive a few more details before then! Stay tuned!

Have a great, Blessed day! Net

  1. Interesting.

I'm sure Kevin must be Lacey's love interest - maybe the fact that he "jumped the gun" has made them release this news now.

Three great Hallmark actresses but right now I'm having trouble seeing them as a trio although presumably one will feature heavily in each movie.

Intrigued to find out who the other two leading men will be.

  2. I like the storyline, but I think they should have done younger actresses for this one.

I agree, that they are all great actresses. I hope they find good male leads for this.

I just don't get why Hallmark is planning all these movies, when they don't follow through with past ones they talk about. It gets you all excited and then come to find out that the movie never gets made.

    1. agree Misty. They never finished Murder she baked, it just ended, talk about new POstables.

I think this could be good if done right. maybe they each get a movie to be lead in? would be interesting if it was Kevin McGarry and maybe dating each woman at different times and then meeting them all 3 again and choosing one to be with?

    2. Sabrina, Exactly! They left "Murder she Baked" off just before Hannah was about to marry Mike. So many potential stories were left untold.

    3. Actually they just renamed it, there is a new one out called Hannah Swensen Mysteries.

    4. Does anyone know what kind of handbag Lacey Chaberts character uses in the beginning of the Wedding Veil? The white handbag? I’m obsessed with it.

    5. Halina, That cute handbag Lacey carries in "The Wedding Veil" is from TED BAKER from a previous season. (I'm thinking it may have been from the 2020 Spring/Summer collection.) Unfortunately, it is no longer available.

If you keep an eye on this designer, however, they might do something similar this Spring and Summer.

Or, if your heart is set on the one Lacey Chabert carries, you'll want to keep a close check on TED BAKER handbags at Ebay or Poshmark.

I wish it was available, too - it is so pretty! :)

    1. Chris, That hasn't been revealed, quite yet, but it may be all three ladies. If, however, it's only one, then my guess is Lacey.

  5. Interesting! I agree, hard to see these three as close friends. Here’s hoping it will be a family-friendly trilogy!!

  6. Two of my very favorite Hallmark actresses - Lacey and Autumn - in this trilogy! Too bad we have to wait until 2022 for the series to air.

I wonder if Lacey will be wearing the wedding gown from her own wedding again, as she did in A Royal Christmas??

  9. This is exciting news! A trilogy of wedding movies and the news you shared the other day about Wedding March with Jack Wagner. I can't believe we have to wait until 2022. Do you think they are bringing June Weddings back next year?

  10. Net, the internet demon is at it again. I did not receive this in my email, but since I love reading comments, I could get this. Such exciting news! Many wonderful things are happening with Hallmark now. Praying this series is family friendly. Perhaps the darkness is getting a little lighter. We can hope!

  13. Baby, It’s Cold Inside

Something mever seen what’s inside Ice Hotel in the movie since Winter Castle

Seasonal hotel with ice-sculpted rooms & suites, plus hot tubs, an ice bar & a wedding chapel.

As you suspect, hotel changes every year, but in 2017/2018 it will include Chapel, Ice bar, Grand Slide, La marais and Arctic Spa Suites. There are 44 ice-rooms to choose from - all with a different theme and thermal sleeping bags to keep you warm. If you would like to get warm outside your room - there is sauna and hot baths.
Some of the local attractions include making your own ice glass, discovering the building secrets of the ice-hotel, dog-sledding, visiting biggest winter playground or.. aquapark. You can even get married here - hotel offers weddings in their mesmerizing ice chapel.

    In hotel:
    Restaurant
    Air conditioning
    Swimming pool
    Bar

    Outside:
    Hiking
    Cycling
    Skiing

  15. I missed the fact that these movies weren't airing until 2022.

If there are three of them then I would think it's pretty certain we'll have three complete love stories.

David Haydn-Jones hasn't been around for a while - I can't see him being in the cast.

It's almost impossible to foreguess Hallmark although Lucas Bryany is definitely a possibility.

Tyler Hynes seems to be the in-flavour at the moment, perhaps him.

  16. The more I think about this the more odd it seems.

It's very unlike Hallmark to advise in detail of plans so far ahead - they haven't even begun to give details of the Christmas Season so I wonder what their idea is in giving details of movies over a year away?

    I don't understand it.
