In case you missed these recent Christmas movie updates...
"The Key to Christmas" is the new movie title for "Christmas Homecoming," which stars Taylor Cole and Steve Lund.
"Swept Up by Christmas" (working title) will star Lindy Booth and Justin Bruening.
"Project Christmas Wish" will star Amanda Schull and Travis Van Winkle.
"Good Morning Christmas" is the new title for "A Bright and Merry Christmas," which stars Alison Sweeney and Marc Blucas.
MY CHRISTMAS MOVIE PICK of the Week:
Both Movies!
"Two Turtle Doves" absolutely swept my heart away with the beautiful love story with Sharon (Nikki Deloach) and Sam (Michael Rady), plus there's a precious AND precocious little girl and the mystery of a lost ornament!
As for "When Calls the Heart," what can I say? I just love this series so much and all of the wonderful people in Hope Valley played by such wonderful actors: Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Kevin McGarry, Paul Greene, Chris McNally, Martin Cummins and Andrea Brooks. This heartwarming movie shows the gift of family and friends, sacrifice and home!

We'll be watching When Calls the heart! I know we've seen it but we would love to watch it again! We don't miss these shows...they are the BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteDiane, That's a perfect choice! So glad you love WCTH, too... it always leaves us viewers feeling so good inside! Happy watching - again!!! :)
DeleteTwo Turtle Doves is my pick! You already knew that Net! This story has stayed with me ever since the first airing. Lost my Mom suddenly. No illness. Just something rare. That first Christmas was unbearable! Mom loved Christmas so much! She died in August and no one seemed to understand the pain of that first Christmas. I put our tree up on Christmas Eve. Christmas is such a special time of year! Must confess, I cried the first time I watched this movie. Helped me to understand much better that it was okay that I was sad that first Christmas. Mom would not have wanted me to be sad. I just could not help it!
ReplyDeleteAwe, kitkat, just reading how much "Two Turtle Doves" touches you - touches my heart. I find the movies I always like the most have some special meaning to my own life experiences.
DeleteIt's not quite the same, but I remember the first Christmas after loosing my Grandmother was very difficult for our family. We always had big Holiday gatherings in her home at Thanksgiving and Christmas and after that, it was so different.
Your Mom must have been such a wonderful lady - to love Christmas so much and to have such a sweet, caring daughter. I will watch "Two Turtle Doves" and think of you!
Thanks so much Net for your kind words! She was a special lady.
DeleteAfter watching Two Turtle Doves, I bought the two turtle doves Hallmark ornament and kept it on display. It is a reminder to me.
How sweet, kitkat... what a precious reminder.

Hallmark Channel staple stars in her latest original Christmas movie, If I Only Had Christmas, which follows a cheerful publicist (Candace Cameron Bure), who teams up with a cynical business owner (Warren Christie) and his team to help a charity in need.
ReplyDeleteWill there ever be a Christmas movie on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries or Hallmark Channel that takes place in a church?
ReplyDeleteChris, I haven't seen any NEW movies in a church, yet. Great question. I will definitely keep a look out for this.
