Lifetime Double Feature Christmas DVD's!

Some Lifetime Christmas movies are rare and hard to find on DVD, so I wanted to be sure to share with all of my friends here - these DVDs before they're gone. Amazon has a few in stock, and there are some listed on Ebay, too; however, if you have your eye on a certain title, you'll probably want to snatch it up quickly!

When movies come in a set, sometimes you can get two movies you love, and sometimes you may end up with one movie you would never choose. Unfortunately, it's the only way you can officially purchase some of these movies on DVD.

I'm going to share a few of the ones I like below..., but please be sure to check for more releases at Amazon (CLICK HERE) or Ebay (CLICK HERE)!

I can't begin to tell you how much I love Christmas Pen Pals. When I first watched it on Lifetime, I was immediately taken by this Christmas movie and I couldn't wait to watch it again! I'm so happy it is available on DVD! Sarah Drew and Niall Matter are absolutely fantastic!

These movies are both delightfully fun rom-coms. Plus, for anyone who is a fan of the sitcom, "Sister, Sister," both Jackée Harry and Tim Reid, who starred alongside Tia Mowry-Hardrict in the show, make an appearance as Tia's parents in this movie!

🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

In Christmas Lost & Found there's a bit of mystery as to who found the lost ornaments, and of course, there's also a sweet romance.

🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

and

Christmas Harmony struck just the right chord with me in it's balance of warmth and comedy. The music in this movie touched my heart deeply.

🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

Snowed Inn Christmas has been a fan favorite since the moment it first aired on Lifetime! Bethany Joy Lenz and Andrew Walker are the perfect opposites attract pairing in this holiday movie. What an unexpected trip it is - when these two at-odds co-workers end up working together in Santa Claus, Indiana! This movie is a wonderful journey!

🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

Down Home Christmas
5 Movie Collection:

The nativity story in Hometown Christmas is truly beautiful. You'll love watching the town come together to share the story of the very First Christmas!

I also love Christmas in Mississippi! When past loves are reunited - there are definite sparks! Jana Kramer and Wes Brown have wonderful chemistry together!

Christmas in Tennessee is such a sweet Lifetime Christmas movie... I adore Rachel Boston with Andrew Walker in this idyllic holiday story. It's a lighthearted movie that simply makes me feel good inside.

🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁

I sure hope you found one or two movies to love here! If your collection is growing bigger and bigger like mine, then I know you'll appreciate the two-in-one DVD sets.

Enjoy!

    1. Melissa, Thank you for sharing that tip. It's great to know the stores have them since I wasn't able to locate all of them on their web-site.

    2. As Melissa mentioned, Walmart has them too. I actually bought all of these LAST year (November 2019) at Walmart for $5 each. Last I checked, they were still available now. I'm hoping they release the ones that premiered last year too!

    Window Wonderland (Hallmark Christmas)
The Flight Before Christmas (Lifetime Christmas)
A Gift Wrapped Christmas (Lifetime Christmas)

Would be most appreciative of any direction ... these are absolute faves and would love to own them. :-)

    1. Hello Gaela!

I still have yet to see "Window Wonderland" on DVD. I know it's a movie that's on many people's wish list. Maybe someday!

I'm not sure if they are official, but "A Gift Wrapped Christmas" and "Flight Before Christmas" are listed on DVD at Ebay. Both DVDs look really nice and come in a sealed DVD package. You may want to contact the seller and ask them about the DVDs. Could they have been an exclusive, limited Lifetime release?

I hope this information is helpful to you!

Hope you have a wonderful, Happy Fall!

    1. Matt, I hear ya... the Lifetime movies do seem more exclusive and harder to find. Wonder why that is? Glad I could share all of these releases.

  7. Yes, Christmas Pen Pals was a great movie well worth having on DVD.

However, A Very Nutty Christmas was one of the worst movies I have ever seen on any of the channels - it was totally weird.

    1. Yeah, like I said above, when they offer 2 movies in 1 DVD, we may not always get two movies we love. For that reason, maybe it would be better to offer them singularly, as well. Why not give buyers the option???

    2. Yes! A Very Nutty Christmas is probably the BEST Christmas movie ever! Great cast and cute original storyline - Melissa Joan Hart and Barry Watson are wonderful as is the rest of the cast. We watch every year and LOVE it! Absoultely adorable and original.

Christmas Pen Pals is probably one of the worst movies ever - not worth the money, but you get one good movie out of the two...

  8. I had no idea Lifetime had released so many of their 2019 movies on DVD. Thanks Net for sharing. I'm not shopping in stores as much as possible so if I can find stuff online even better.

    1. While I know some people are comfortable going out to stores, I know there are still many people who are doing their best to avoid them at this time. I completely understand that, as my family and I are continuing to do grocery pick-ups, etc... instead of going inside the store. It's all about what your comfortable with. I'm happy I could give you some on-line options for purchasing these Christmas DVDs. Happy *on-line* shopping!!!

    2. The Niall Matter movie, Christmas Pen Pals is DVD I plan to order. Niall is one of my favorites.

Net, I read your comment about people attacking you for your faith in Jesus. When we stand for our convictions, persecutions will come. This gives assurance you are doing the right thing. Be sure of this! Great will be your rewards in heaven. You are blessing others and you will be blessed. Perhaps you are encouraging others to speak out for our Lord. I prayed for you this morning Net. May God's richest blessings be yours today.

    1. Chris, That Christmas Movie is high on my list, too, possibly #2, but my absolute favorite from Lifetime will probably always be "A Gift Wrapped Christmas!" I just adore the always bubbly, GWEN, little Owen, the sweet secretary, Pat, and of course, CHARLIE BAKER!!! Love that movie!!! If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.

    2. I second Net on the "A Gift Wrapped Christmas!" It is my favorite Limetime as well, and probably one of the top Christmas movie on any network! It just makes me HAPPY! I can't help but smile and laugh whenever I watch it! Meridith Hagner is simply a delight to watch and she portrays her bubbly, happy character SO well! (She is terrific in "My Christmas Love" on Hallmark as well!)

    3. I 3rd the Gift Wrapped Christmas as Lifetime's best movie. I only discovered I loved it last October, but have since watched it likely 100 times or more. It is so good. I love Meredith Hagner, she and Travis Milne have great banter together. and little Owen is just adorable. I love Pat and Sal, I want them in their own movies, and more of Roy too. I just love movies when one is just going on with their life not thinking anything else could ever be happy again, and meeting that one special person that turns your life upside down and sideways and brings joy to you again.

    1. YAY, KITKAT!!! I feel like that last one was just waiting on the shelf for YOU to come along and get it! You certainly will have some treasured movies there to enjoy always. Both DVDs have wonderful collections.

Hopefully they will re-stock, so others can get them, too!

Enjoy ALL of your wonderful Christmas movies, especially "Christmas Pen Pals" and of course, "Hearts of Christmas" in the "A Song for Christmas" set! All of those movies touch my heart, and I know they'll touch yours, too, each time you re-watch them! :)

    2. Net, just had to take time to say a big "Thank You" for info on "Christmas Pen Pals". Watched this weekend and loved it! The other movie is okay too. I will be watching "Christmas Pen Pals" over and over.

    3. kitkat, I'm so glad to hear how much you enjoyed "Christmas Pen Pals"! Isn't it so sweet? Niall and Sarah are absolutely adorable together, aren't they? I want to say so much, but I don't want to spoil it for any one else reading this - who hasn't seen it yet.

I'll just say - I'm so HAPPY you loved it!!! :)

  11. Net, it's not a Christmas movie, but The Thanksgiving House is called Legally Tender (dumb name to me) on Pixltv. I can't find it on DVD though.

    1. Misty, I will definitely keep a look for this movie on DVD. It is unfortunate we have so few Thanksgiving movies. They do so many during the holidays, you'd think they could do at least one Thanksgiving themed movie each year.

  12. Net, do you think any of the 2019 Lifetime Christmas movies will be released in the double features? I would love to buy Random Acts Of Christmas and I love that $5 price tag from Walmart.

    1. Laura, That is a great question - I sure hope so! You'd think with the pandemic and all this Spring, DVD production would've been sparse, but it seems the Hallmark Christmas DVDs are still being released in an even flow, so I wouldn't be surprised if more of Lifetime's Christmas movies become available, as well.

  13. While we are talking about Lifetime, I wish they would put Christmas on Chestnut Street out on dvd. It shows all the rat race of everyone running around shopping and fighting for lights and stuff, but the end is great when everyone comes together for the real reason for Christmas. I, too, would love for Thanksgiving House to come out on dvd. Net, I agree with you on giving buyers the option on movies on dvd. I love Hearts of Christmas and Catch a Christmas Star, but I am having a hard time justifying $30. for each set to get one movie. It's hard when you are on a fixed income.

    1. Yes, I have always enjoyed "Christmas on Chestnut Street," too! I think that movie is often over-looked since the leads aren't big stars. That ending is especially beautiful!

My only caution for viewers would be that the boss in the movie uses some language, like "d" and "h". Other than that, I remember liking it a lot.

As far as the DVDs go, if you can check your local Walmart, you might find it cheaper there.

  14. Sorry, this comment does not pertain to Lifetime movies....but I wasn't sure where exactly to post it! If anyone is looking for cheap Hallmark Hall of Fame movies, Seagull Book has some for $4.99 each.
I just went to my local store and they had "Christmas in Conway," "Christmas with Holly," "In My Dreams," "The Russell Girl," "The Boys Next Door" (that's one I've never even heard of!), and the "Sarah Plain and Tall" trilogy ("Sarah Plain and Tall," "Skylar," and "Winter's End") all for 5 bucks each!
You may check online if you don't have a store close; I know that sometimes they have different movies online versus in store because each store has their own stock.
Every few months Seagull Book has 1-5 Hallmark Hall of Fame movies on sale (I've always seen them at $4.99). I checked my own movies and counted 33 total that I've gotten/seen there (4 of which are Christmas movies!) over the past couple years! I hadn't realized I had picked up that many! But I just can't resist the movies and price! I've even gotten a whole truck load for friends....they make great gifts! :) Last year I bought "Loving Leah," "Magic of Ordinary Days," "Christmas with Holly," and "In My Dreams" for $13 each and I was so excited because it was such a good deal! And then 2 months later I could have gotten them for $5....man, I was bummed...but that's the way it goes, sometimes you miss the good deal! :)
Anyway, for those who like good deals, check it out. The website is seagullbook.com
Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day!

    2. Rissa, Thank you for sharing this DVD information with us. I have never heard of Seagull Book. I'm going to be sure and look it up on-line. Sounds like they have great deals there. That is a bummer you missed their big sale, but you never know if they might sell out a movie you love - and that would be worse to not have it all.

How sweet of you to also get them for gifts! Can we be besties??? haha!

Blessings to You... Enjoy watching ALL of the Christmas!!!
