It's great to see these new Christmas DVD releases from 2019; I'm hopeful we'll see many more!

I would tell you my favorite picks, but I love them ALL!

However, ...if I had to give the edge to just ONE, it would definitely be "A Christmas Love Story!" I am such a lover of music and singing, especially at Christmastime, so this movie has everything I love best! ♪ Plus, Kristin Chenoweth and Scott Wolf are too cute together!

Do you have an absolute favorite?

  1. Net, I understand that Hallmark is moving some movies to the left of what many of us Christians believe
and I do not want to DVR them or watch them. Could you please let us know which upcoming movies are going with the LBGQ, etc. We appreciate your input and your love for our Lord Jesus. Thank you for this blog.

    1. Sandy B, I completely understand. I will do my very best to let you know whatever I hear throughout the Christmas season. This subject is deeply concerning to me, as well. I know some people say "it's just a movie." No, it's not that simple. It's much more.

It's a blessing to know so many others who feel like my family and I do. Thank you so much for sharing!

      Blessings to you! :)

  2. I love the theme of A Christmas Love Story - that was pretty touching! It really sets it apart. Also, God blessed our family with adoption, so it holds a special place in my heart. Also, I really like Meritt Patterson, so Picture a Perfect Christmas would be my second choice.

    1. Lisa, So glad you enjoyed "A Christmas Love Story," too! I love how this movie about adoption touches so many hearts! That is so wonderful that you adopted a child into your family.

Have you also seen "A Joyous Christmas?" There's a story of adoption in that movie, too, that is quite beautiful.

By the way, "Picture a Perfect Christmas" is a very close second choice pick for me too!

Blessings to you & your family!

    3. Lisa, when A Joyous Christmas was on HMM, I didn't have that channel, so when I saw the DVD on Amazon, I purchased it. So thankful I did! Michael Rady sings in this movie and his voice is amazing. I didn't have Net back then to tell me about the movie, but it is one of the best!

    1. kitkat, Oh my goodness, you're welcome... I love "Picture A Perfect Christmas" too! There's just something about the warmth and charm of this movie, it just feels natural and easy-going. Plus, Troy is the cutest! I love when he gets his dessert all over his face and then bursts out laughing! That is the best!

Glad one movie was released on your wish list! I would also love to see both "Time For You To Come Home For Christmas" and "Two Turtle Doves!" Hopefully soon!
