MY *Mark the 25th* PICK:

My personal pick to *Mark the 25th,* at this time of uncertainty during the coronavirus, is Hearts of Christmas! I chose this movie because it highlights our Doctors and Nurses, who are currently working night and day to provide medical care. God bless them. I will watch and pray and be thankful for their incredible service.

I am also going to try to see all three Christmas movies Hallmark is playing this week. I just love the beautiful Nutcracker ballet scene in A Nutcracker Christmas. It reminds me of when my family and I attended this enchanting ballet when I was a little girl. Oh... what memories!

A Christmas Miracle and Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays are both delightful, feel good Christmas, so I'm looking forward to re-watching both of them and singing along on Thursday and Friday night!

What is your Christmas movie pick to *Mark the 25th*? Please share in comments below...

  1. Asked to pick a miracle movie during this time of uncertainty and I would easily choose Once Upon a Christmas Miracle. It reminds us that selfless acts to help someone else can lead to beautiful things. Stay well and God bless.

  2. I have A Shoe Addict’s Christmas on my DVR, so that was going to be my choice. But, you’re right Net, Hearts of Christmas is the perfect choice. ❤️πŸŽ„. Be kind and be safe everyone.

  5. I choose two to watch. Hearts of Christmas and Once upon a Christmas Miracle. Still hoping for Hearts of Christmas, and so many more, to come out on dvd. Hallmark has made a lot of good movies, but this is one on my favorites. Also hoping for Love in Paradise and Pearl in Paradise to come out on dvd. RG

  6. I am slowly making my way through the 2019 New Hallmark Christmas movies. I'm really enjoying watching them now...especially now. Still have 21 more to go...haha. Next up on my list is "Nostalgic Christmas". I will be watching that one today. I have yet to see "A Christmas Miracle" so I will be watching that one in the very near future.

Now, "A Nutcracker Christmas". I absolutely love that movie. Sometimes when I first see a movie it just hits all the right buttons and sends me into that lovely mix of strong emotions, delight, and wonderment of the magical that I am experiencing. "A Nutcracker Christmas" was one of those movies. I remember watching it at around 4 AM back in 2016 (Wow! that was four years ago already). I was up all night. I had my Christmas Tree lit. It was about a week from Christmas. I remember it moving me tremendously. When she sees her deceased Sister sitting in the audience at the very end of the movie that sent me on a one way ticket to Cry Land...haha...so moving.

I had never really thought much of the Nutcracker Christmas play before that. I hadn't even saw it (unlike Net who beautifully described her memory of seeing it as a child). The music was nice but I really didn't associate the music to much at all before that. After seeing that movie that night I immediately found the music associated with the play and was swept up with all my emotions into Christmas wonderland that night, right before the sunset broke for a new day.

Maybe even a little ashamed to admit it but I also remember while listening to that music I was kind of floating and spinning in circles in my living room like when I was a child spinning in the front yard on a beautiful warm breezy day. Just feeling the excitement of the moment.

Oh yes, "A Nutcracker Christmas" has a very very special place in my heart. To this day I absolutely love the music. I have yet to see the play but am planning to go very soon. Needless to say I will also be keeping an eye on "A Nutcracker Christmas" tonight.

I have said it many times Net but a special mention needs to be said again now. Coming to your blog now, Net, especially in these trying days, is one of the special and wonderful parts of my day. To even temporarily be swept away into this lovely world of God and wonderment that you have created is an absolute necessity. Thank you so much.

I'm with you Net! Hearts of Christmas is one of my favorites and I hadn't thought about how this movie would be honoring our dedicated medical workers at this trying time we are going through! I watch Hearts of Christmas quite often.

I'm hoping HMM might give us a weekend of Christmas movies like HM did last week.
    Blessing my friend!

  8. Well...since Net said we can pick any family friendly show, my pick is not Christmas-y, but it's "Crikey! It's the Irwins" on Animal Planet. I can't tell you what a delightful, beautiful, charming show this is. My daughter and I are hooked. We are major animal lovers. Bindi, who just got married, is absolutely adorable. God's gift of nature and animals is spectacular!!
