It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS and SPRING this Weekend on the Hallmark Channel! Hallmark's first new bloom of the year, their Spring Fling movie, "Just My Type," premieres Saturday night right in the middle of their Christmas Movie Marathon, which will let viewers "Jingle Around the Clock" nearly all weekend long!
On Sunday night - you'll want to attend a very special "When Calls the Heart" wedding on the Hallmark Channel and an all new episode of "When Hope Calls."
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries also joins in the festive fun, which highlights their best Christmas movies all weekend long... leading up to the premiere of the latest "Mystery 101!"
Also on Sunday, UPtv has the movie premiere of "Undercover Angel," which reminds us that Angels are always amongst us!

Storyline via Hallmark: Lillian has doubts about Sam when he bears a striking resemblance to a train robber at large. Gabriel helps Constable Nathan Grant, who is in town from Hope Valley hunting down the fugitive. Chuck stays at the orphanage as a protective measure and to spend more time with Grace. Tess interviews candidates for a new foreman but holds out hope that Chuck will eventually decide to run the family ranch. Meanwhile, Maggie makes an interesting discovery at the infirmary.

Storyline via Hallmark: A young writer's research prompts the police to revisit a famous murder case that convicted Amy's (Jill Wagner) colleague at Elmstead, so Travis (Kristoffer Polaha) and Amy get a second chance at clearing the professor's name.
Amy can’t believe her colleague, a Mark Twain scholar, poisoned a professor to get an early draft of Huck Finn. Determined to prove his innocence, Amy enlists help from Travis, whose predecessor is the cop who convicted her friend. Now the retired officer is going to great lengths to make sure his arrest stands. But Amy’s not the only one who wants the conviction overturned. A woman writing a book about the case is linking it to another poisoned professor who accused a student of plagiarism. Both murders certainly bring a new meaning to the saying “publish or perish.”

Yes, Hallmark changed it back to Spring Fling (instead of Spring Fever) in early/mid March.
DeleteSpring Fling was the original title for this block of programming back in 2016 and 2017. Then, they changed it to Spring Fever in 2018 and it was Spring Fever last year in 2019, as well, and it would've been that this year, too, if not for the pandemic.
I believe it was an excellent decision on Hallmark's part to change this with everything going on right now. I truly appreciate everyone at Hallmark for being sensitive to their viewer's feelings and taking this action quietly behind the scenes.
I wonder why Bill & Mountie Nathan out of town by riding horses when Elizabeth saw them by schoolhouse when 2 suspects are out there
