image: Hallmark Crown Media

Have you heard the HO, HO, HO... Holly Jolly News?

Get ready to feel all the Peace on Earth... Good Will Towards Men once again as the Hallmark Channel plays Christmas movies all weekend long!

Okay, there are a few exceptions... "In the Key of Love" (which was originally intended to be a "June Weddings" film) will still premiere on the Hallmark Channel Saturday night at 9pm/8c. with the 2020 Spring Fling Preview Special at 11pm/10c and the Mystery Movies Preview Special at 11:30pm/10:30c. On Sunday night, right after the Christmas movie marathon is over, the Hallmark Channel will have all new episodes of "When Calls the Heart" and "When Hope Calls!"

If you were planning to watch the premiere of the Pixl movie, Adventures in Love & Babysitting, unfortunately it will not be seen until Tuesday, April 21st at 8pm/7c. Update: 2pm/1c., unless there are future schedule changes, which, of course, is always probable.

Here are all the festive details direct from Hallmark's Press Release:

    1. "Adventures in Love & Babysitting" has been removed from the schedule this Saturday afternoon; however it is still scheduled to air on Tuesday, April 21st. The time has been changed, since yesterday, to 2pm/1c. It is possible it may change again, so I'll be sure to let you know if that happens.

"In the Key of Love" will still premiere this Saturday night - March 21, 2020!

  2. Other movies included in the marathon include "A Christmas Love Story" with Kristin Chenoweth; "Christmas Under Wraps" with Cameron Bure; "A Royal Christmas" with Chabert; and "Christmas at Dollywood" with Dolly Parton.

Hallmark isn't the only one looking toward the holidays for a pick-me-up.

People also took to social media with the idea of putting up Christmas lights in order to spread some hope and kindness during this challenging time.

"A friend just shared that an elderly neighbor came to her house and asked her husband to turn on the Christmas lights because there's so much darkness and scariness now. So, there are bright dancing Christmas lights now on in their neighborhood," user @LisaStRegis tweeted.

"Today a few of my neighbours decided we needed a bit more light in this dark time and decided to turn their Christmas lights back on. I hope it brings a smile to (your) face like it did mine,"

    1. I think it's beautiful that people are turning on their Christmas lights again. If it makes them feel good inside that's all that's important. Plus, light is a wonderful thing to keep our homes safe at this time.

We have a few clear lights lit up outside our home and it just me feel warm inside to see them, and I hope it cheers others up and makes them feel good too! :)

    1. Jim, It's so wonderful to hear from you! I think many of us feel just like you do. Very uncertain. Is this real? It's truly an unusual time we are all living through. I'm trying to be strong and have faith, but it's hard sometimes. I know many of us are concerned about loved ones, food, jobs, etc... It makes me feel a little better to know others feel the same way... we're all in this together and God is greater than all my fears!

I'm so glad we can all enjoy this detour to Christmas this weekend together!

      Happy Christmas Watching!!! :)

    1. Mark 25, Hello there! So good to hear from you! I agree, this is a great selection of Hallmark Christmas movie favorites. Plus many of these are included in the Merry Madness Brackett- so it's a good time to look back to these movies and vote for our favorites.

I'm also happy to see "Nine Lives of Christmas" and "Christmas Under the Stars" and ALL the other ones you mentioned, too! It was so nice of Hallmark to give us this gift. Enjoy watching!

  8. I am so excited about this. I know I will be home most of the weekend and now I don't feel bad at all. It would be so awesome if HMM does this one weekend too, and then HM Drama too. I like this cause there are some movies on this list that I didn't get around to seeing this past year and just deleted them to save room on my dvr, I can't believe I am saying I skipped Christmas Love Song, so happy I will get to see it. also skipped write before Christmas, I didn't want to but there was just so many movies and I just couldn't watch anymore new. Love seeing Very Merry Mixup, Snow Bride and Christmas Under Wraps too, some of my fave.

although it is nearly 90 every day here now, I will be so happy with a little Christmas now :)

    1. Sabrina, It's so good to hear how much you are excited, too, over Hallmark's weekend Christmas movie marathon! Finally - This change in Hallmark's schedule is a good one!

“A Christmas Love Story” is such a beautiful, powerful story - and, of course, Kristin Chenoweth's voice is a-may-zing! So, I think you'll love it!

“Write Before Christmas” was so fun. I won't give anything away, but it is probably in my top 3 favorites from the 2020 Christmas movie season! I really loved that one! I hope you do, too!

Our weather is also a little warmer... in the low 50's today, but we should be in the 20's tonight! Brrrr! So much for Spring here. It doesn't really arrive here in the Midwest 'til mid-April. Although, we can still have freezing temps then at night. We have to wait typically until after Mother's Day until we can have flowers.

Enjoy all the Christmas movies, my friend! Happy watching!!! :)

  9. Candace Cameron Bure Says Her Hallmark Projects Are In Flux Amid Coronavirus Quarantine (Exclusive)

With Hollywood in limbo amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Candace Cameron Bure is remaining positive despite her Hallmark projects being postponed. The 43-year-old actress spoke via video chat with ET's Katie Krause about how the outbreak has impacted her work.

"We were in the middle of filming a new Aurora Teagarden mystery for the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel, and we got in one week of production and then we were shut down, which I was very happy about," Bure tells ET. "I thought that was the most responsible decision, and it was the right decision. So I left Vancouver and immediately came home to my family, and we were all hoping that within two weeks or three weeks we'd start production back up, but now watching the news every day, I don't see that happening."

As for when she'll return to set and filming, Bure admits that she still has no idea.

"There isn't [a timeline] because the news is changing every day," she explains. "We're getting all these updates and it's getting pushed, so it's really hard to plan anything, but we're all in communication, and at this point, it's a waiting game. I don't think we're going to have answers for at least another 10 days."
In the meantime, Hallmark is treating viewers to a "We Need a Little Christmas"special marathon of its Christmas classics from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22.

"If that doesn't bring cheer, what will? I was delighted to hear," Bure says of the network's announcement. "I have many, many fans on social media reaching out saying, 'Please show the Christmas movies! They make me so happy.' So I was happy that Hallmark heard the message."

But in order to keep the peace in her own home, Bure won't be watching along with fans.

"I think my husband and my children will kick me out of the house if I turn my Christmas movies on," she quips. "They'll be like, 'We deal with this once a year with you. We're not doing this in March!'"

Bure acknowledges that much of the stress at this time revolves around uncertainty with people's jobs.

"I think that's the real struggle with so many of us and the fear and the worry is our jobs. So many of us are not able to go and work and we're restricted from doing that, and so we think about all the bills that we have to pay and our mortgage and our food and everything," she says. "And that affects every single person no matter what your position is, no matter what your job is. That's the unknown part that's scary."

But the actress is trying to take some time to enjoy her life at home with her family.

"I'm enjoying the time being home because my kids are home, my husband's home, and we're usually all scattered, so I'm looking at the positives, and I'm so happy to be home with my family," she says. "We are cooking so much at home. I do have a cookware line [Cookcraft by Candace]. We're taking the time to cook all the kinds of recipes that we never do because they took too long. And now we have tons of time."

One of her sons, 18-year-old Maksim, is still out of state in Minnesota, where he attends college.

"I still have one out of state. I've got two home," she says. "I'm not freaking out, but we're monitoring it every day. He's happy. He wants to stay there. He's safe and he's doing everything he has to do. If they're shutting down flying within the country, then mama's gonna bring him home."

As for general stress at this time, Bure is keeping a positive attitude.

"It's hard not to worry to some extent, but I'm not a big worrier by nature because there are things that are just out of our control and it's not going to do any of us any good to worry about it," she explains.

    1. Thank you for sharing this wonderful article from ET with Candace Cameron Bure. I think we were all uncertain, at first, at the timing of this. It's kinda thrown us all for a loop.

I've noticed Candace has done some fun videos on her Instagram page, so it's fun to see how she's staying connected with her family and fans.

It's interesting how this is affecting all of our lives. Although we can't change the big things, we can control how we react to it.

  10. A little girl from Philippines says she received a reassuring message from God telling her not to be scared, because the Coronavirus will soon end.

While the mother and daughter were watching CNN News report on television about the COVID-19 cases, Jahzara “Jahzy” suddenly spoke. “Mommy you know what, God told me something,” she told her mom.

She asked her, “How? What did He tell you?” Jahzy replied, “I was sleeping last night and in my dream, I hear God, He told me, ‘Jahzy don’t be scared, the virus will be gone on April.’”

“And it is not made up, the word says, “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control“. (2 Timothy 1:7)

What a wonderful treat Hallmark has given us! We all needed this now more than ever. It's a scary time, but my God is greater than all of this and He knows the end of the story. We just have to cling to that and trust Him to get us through this. Praying for safety and health to you all. And to you dear Net, God's blessings on you my friend! Your hard work blesses us all so much!

  13. Every time I see Christmas Town, I love it even more. I just love the message of adopting and making a permeant home for a child. So many people open their hearts and bring in someone that is not their biological child, but a child that is their family forever and so much love. My heart goes out to all those involved.
