Whatever you choose, I enjoy hearing from you! Blessings, Net
I watched this movie tonight. I did not like the end. All of a sudden it showed Jen and Kate at Owen's Christmas party then jumped to Jon typing on his computer remembering when he and Jen met. Then it was over. What happened?
ReplyDeleteI agree. I recorded it and was surprised and disappointed on how they ended it. Maybe they're setting it up for a sequel next year where Jen and Jon get back together.
DeleteI hated how it ended too. I hope they make a part two of it
DeleteMy DVR didn't record the last few minutes. How did it end
ReplyDeleteWhat happened. There was no ending. What happens with each couple. Where are the earrings? Help. please explain. Is there a second movie?
ReplyDeleteI thought the ending lacked an ending. I felt like I recorded it and I missed the ending. Even your picture of the movie has the main couple together with her in her red dress at the party. Was disappointed in the ending.
ReplyDeleteChristmas Matchmakers was a good movie right up to the end when it fell flat on its face. The ending left the viewer disatisfied because all the characters lives were unresolved. It just ended and went to commercial. Extremely disappointing.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss something....like the ending? The last part I saw was Jon looking at a book...no going to his company's party and no reunion with Jen. Then to commercials. Zap! The next movie began. If that was the ending, I didn't like it.
ReplyDeleteWas that the ending?????????
ReplyDeleteDumb ending
ReplyDeleteWe watched the entire movie on ION TV and it was cut short and did not show the ending. We were super disappointed. After a long commercial about Criminal Minds, the next movie started. We had watched Christmas movies all day on this channel. Might never watch this channel ever again.
ReplyDeleteDid Owen give Kate the earrings?
ReplyDeleteDid Jon and Jen get together?
what happened to the ending?
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the ending? Was there an ending? What crappy writing for it to be crammed into an ambiguous ending. Was it cut for commercials?
ReplyDeleteby the way everyone the ending was not shown and Vivica is trying to get to the bottom of it.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the end
ReplyDeleteThe ending was crazy! There was no ending..is ther going to be a part 2???? I was so confused and disappointed!
ReplyDeleteNo true ending. Did it end short @ 9:57? Is there a prt 2?
ReplyDeleteSeemed like the ending was missing. Left the characters disconnected. Nothing Christmas cheery about how this movie ended
ReplyDeleteIon claimed Technical Difficulty resulted in the ending getting Clipped, although we still had 5-6 minute commercial breaks!
ReplyDeleteI, too, was watching this movie and right at the end I thought.... Wait? What happened? Was that the credits? Is it over? It really seemed like there must be more to the story. Wonder if we catch an encore showing if there will be an actual ending?
ReplyDeleteNo ending. Maybe if they cut some of the commercials, they could have included a decent ending.
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck??? Good movie, then all of a sudden a commercial, then a new movie started. There was no ending. I think the writers ran out of time, so they just ended the movie. Lame!!! :-(
ReplyDeletewatched the end of the encore and ending was shown
ReplyDeleteOwen gave his speech at work, which was written by Jon. Afterwards, Owen proposed to Kate giving her a beautiful ring. Jon ran to the jewelry store to purchase the earnings for Jen but they were already sold. When Jon arrived at his work party, Owen gave the earrings to Jon as he has purchased them for Jon to give to Jen. Jon decided he was not moving out of town as he has planned and admitted to Jen that he wanted to stay in town to give their relationship a chance to grow. Cut scene to the two couples dancing in the night sky with the Capital Records building in the background. The ending was rushed but it was the ending that these holiday romantic movies typically roll out.
ReplyDeleteWe do like our tidy endings! When Jon stood up from the typewriter, he picked up his copy of The Great Gatsby. Early in the movie he mentioned it was valued at $1000. I think the conclusion we are meant to draw is, in the spirit of O Henry's The Gift of the Magi, he sells his book to buy her the earrings just as her father sold his car to buy earrings for her mother.
ReplyDeleteWORST ENDING EVER!!! Not sure how this particular movie even received a 3 in it's 5 star rating poll. It had me believing, and then, bam, it abruptly ends. Don't waste your time...unless you enjoy being disappointed.
ReplyDeleteAccording to two reviews above, there was an encore that showed the ending. What a disappointing waste of two hours for those of us that watched a version without an ending. Bah! Humbug! to Ion!
