  1. So long as you're not looking for a romance, this is possibly the best movie I've watched this Christmas season (so far!) -- although I've still got lots more to go on the dvr!! First, though, before watching this, you've got to wipe your mind of any youtube videos of Ashanti in a trashy outfit singing trashy lyrics. In this movie she's appropriately attired and all the songs she sings with Stan Shaw are Christ-centered (no Jingle Bells or Rudolph), and her voice is beautiful when she's singing good clean lyrics. This movie is touching and might even require a tissue here and there. I'm still in shock that Lifetime aired this movie; I kept waiting for them to throw in some socially progressive political agenda, but somehow they managed to air a decent, family-friendly movie. I definitely recommend!
