looks like a good one
ReplyDeleteChristmas book turned into a Hallmark movie called; “The Christmas Tree Lot” – an unpublished book he wrote after being inspired by a holiday tree lot that sprouts in Park Forest each season.
ReplyDeleteThough the book remains unpublished, it is now the inspiration behind a new Hallmark movie premiering in the network’s “Countdown to Christmas” next month.
The movie, titled “Christmas Under the Stars,” will star Jesse Metcalfe, known for his roles on "John Tucker Must Die," "Desperate Housewives," and NBC’s “The Chase,” and Autumn Reeser, who rose to stardom following her role on “The O.C.” and recently "The Arrangement." It is set to air on Nov. 16, 2019.
Of all the Christmas movie premieres last weekend this was spot on.Loved the characters esp Matt Davis' Nick Sinclair and his journey falling in love with the effervescent Abby and rediscovering the joy of Christmas. A keeperš
ReplyDeleteI guess I need to give this one more of a chance...I lasted about 5 minutes with it. It looked to me like something filmed in 1980 - very dated seeming.
ReplyDeleteI'm not too impressed so far with what I've seen of Christmas, 2019, but there is far more to come!
And, I have not seen all of the mainstream press that Hallmark received last year, either, possibly based on last year's movies being overall a big dull batch of fake snow.
Hopefully they have many high quality gems planned for us this year, yet to come!

ReplyDeleteFavorite scene with Abbey (Jill Wagner) -
Hurt and furious after her very demeaning job interview, telling Nick and Kate off, and Nick telling her that she has the job.
