My pick for August 25th is "Angels Sing". A great movie with terrific country stars and a great Christmas movie about 2nd chanches. Love Willie Nelson and the great decorations on the street.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I have been very far behind watching these mysteries, as I have just felt blah about Hallmark in general. But I finally got to watch this movie this weekend, and..................I WANT MORE. I loved the 1st 3 and watched them right away, but this one was so good. I just love Ali and Ben and their chemistry. I do hope we don't get them finally getting together and then no more movies like Murder she Baked. I just adore this cast, although I missed the one guy from the 1st 3 movies, I cant remember his name, not her uncle, but the other guy at the chronicle. I hope I will see more of these being filmed soon so they can be ready for January and February.
ReplyDeleteNow, I have to watch the most recent 2 Mystery 101's. And also Darrow 3, I do love these mysteries, just had to be in the mood. Have the last 4 Chesapeake shores to watch too.
Oh my goodness - you are certainly in for a treat, Sabrina, with all these great movies and shows to still watch.
DeleteI must say, the mysteries have really been great lately. Aurora Teagarden was the cream of the crop for me, but I've enjoyed all the others, too, so far.
Chronicle Mysteries is a definitely a good one, but part of me still hopes they could do a few more Murder She Baked movies. Why end the movie with Hannah and Mike just finally getting together. They could still be a great married crime fighting duo like Hart to Hart. Maybe in this new series - we'll can see them together sooner.
Happy watching! By the way - Kris & Jill are fabulous once again! :)
Yeah, I know I love Jill and Kris, and I know that when I watch the 3rd movie I will want to immediately watch the 4th movie, so I want to make sure I can carve out the time to watch both together. It is hard to get 4 hours or even 2 to watch movies with baseball, football, baking championships, Heartland, on top of me wanting to watch daily some of the older Hallmark movies.
DeleteBy the way, the other night I accidently deleted Matchmaker Santa, I want to cry. I guess I did it in the middle of the night. I have to wait til Oct 25th to re-record it, very sad.
Watched all the Mystery 101's, just found and enjoying Darrow & Darrow (ps I want more!!) And now accidently found the Chronicle Mysteries. CM is crisp, intelligent and believable. I got the hallmark apps but didn't find this on there, found it on Google under Alison Sweeney. Why?! Anyway I'm loving these. Hope they will keep making more.
