--HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES--
I am very happy Kellie Martin is returning in the Hailey Dean Mysteries series. I've watch all of them and look forward to more. She is a wonderful actress. Also enjoyed her in the "Mystery Woman" series during 2003-2007.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Glady! I'm also happy to see Kellie Martin return in the role of Hailey Dean. I thought, perhaps, the story had ended when they found Will's killer, so it will be interesting to see the series carry on from there.
DeleteI, too, thought Kellie Martin was great in "Mystery Woman!" It was one of the first Hallmark series of mystery films, along with Jane Doe, etc...
Looking back, I've enjoyed watching Kellie Martin act since the television series, "Life Goes On" and then, "Christy." (I was always disappointed that "Christy" ended so soon.)
Anyway, I'm so glad to hear, glady, you are also looking forward to these new Hailey Dean mysteries!
Blessings, Net
Thanks, Net for your comments. I'm hopeful that Kellie and Jonah's love will continue and blossom into something more serious.
DeleteI also enjoyed the Jane Doe series. Lea Thompson is also a great actress.
I, too was disappointed when the "Christie" series ended. I have that DVD and will have to "pop" it into my DVD player and relive the series. Not sure if I watched the final episode when it was televised, and don't know if she chose one of her suitors.
Nice chatting with you, Net. We have much in common. My blessings to you. Glady
Hello, again, Glady! I'm so glad to hear we both enjoy so many of the same types of movies!
DeleteAs for the series, "Christy," I won't given any of the story away, but unfortunately, they filmed further movies that completed the series, with another actress. You can see details on these films - here!
It was wonderful chatting with you, too! Blessings! Net
Christy was portrayed by Lauren Lee Smith
DeleteWhere’s Hailey Dean’s Brother in Law; Danny Morgan (Giacomo Baessato) wasn’t in 3 movies this year?
ReplyDeleteApparently, Giacomo Baessato's role as Danny Morgan wasn't needed for these three Hailey Dean films. In the first movie ("Death on Duty")they explained his absence by saying he was in Florida for his parents' anniversary.
DeleteWill Danny be back for future Hailey Dean movies? For now, that is unknown, but I wouldn't close the door on the idea completely, especially since his brother was engaged to Hailey when he was killed. Having that connection to Hailey may bring back a reason for his role to continue in future HD mysteries, if they make more of them.
I hope they bring him back.
DeleteAgreed. The series feels off without Danny.
DeleteI really hope they bring him back. The movies weren't the same without him, it was disappointing.
DeleteYes, please bring Danny back. He and Monty should work together. Inside and outside of the office.
DeleteI agree - we need Danny back on the show. By the way, I absolutely love any charactor Kelly Martin plays.
ReplyDeleteI hope he returns as well. I've really missed his character! I agree, the series seems just a bit off without him.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I both love the Hailey Dean movies as well as the Mystery Woman ones. These are two of our favorite mystery series. Also, like Mystery 101 and Garage Sale Mystery shows. Hope they put the rest of the Mystery Woman shows on dvd. Miss the Garage Sale Mystery shows. We too hope they bring Danny back in the H. D. msytery shows.
ReplyDeleteI know that not all the movies can be placed on the voting list, but here are a few of our favorites that didn't make the list. Love in Paradise, The Sweetest Heart and Uncommon Grace.
ReplyDeleteThose are great movie picks, too!
DeleteThis week's poll - *Favorite TV Movie from 2010-2019* includes all the past winners based on viewers votes.
Thank you for sharing your favorites! :)
