  1. The promise of new love for Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton (Erin Krakow). The series had just returned on February 24, for the premiere of Season 6. There was an audience of 2.5 million viewers that wanted to see what was next for Elizabeth.

    1. Yes, "When Calls the Heart" had excellent ratings at the start of Season 6. I think the cast wasn't certain if they would after what happened at the end of season 5 with Jack, but the Hearties came back in full support. To have this new situation happen now, after only 3 episodes in, is heartbreaking. I was just saying a week or so ago, how much I was enjoying this new season, possibly even more than any other, and then this happened. I don't know what the creators will do exactly, but I wish them well throughout this process, and I hope fans will continue to be devoted.

    1. I feel the same way, Ken. Hallmark immediately shared this statement below with their viewers, setting everyone's minds at ease, that "When Calls the Heart" will continue on.

"#Hearties, we assure you that Hallmark Channel has no plans to cancel When Calls the Heart. Hope Valley has many more stories left to share and we will let you know the details soon."

I'm certain when further decisions are made, Hallmark will be certain to inform the Hearties.

Thank you for sharing! Blessings, Net

    2. Thanks for letting us know, Net; that is wonderful news. "When Calls the Heart" represents all that is good and positive and it is great to know that the Hope Valley story will continue to bring us inspiration! It is also excellent news that the cast and crew will be able to work together despite the loss of Lori Loughlin.
      Best Regards to all Hearties!
      Ken

    1. Yeah, it was a pretty cute storyline... I only wish he hadn't sold his deceased mother's furniture. That part of the story made me kind of sad. I was hoping someone would get it back, but it didn't happen.

    1. Yes, all Hearties are awaiting the arrival of Kevin McGarry ("Winter Castle") as Mountie Nathan Grant. I'm not sure how long the wait will be - as the creative team works. I know we are all eager to see what happens next.
