  2. I just watched Erin KrakΓ³w on Home&Family and she said this season is going to be positive and happy. They are moving on past all the sadness of season 5.

  4. I like Fiona, the telephone operator together with Lucas, the new saloon owner. They have great chemistry. I hope that Elizabeth will not end up with Lucas but with the new mountie..

  5. “#Hearties, thank you for your love, support, and patience these last several days as we have all been preoccupied with the news about Lori Loughlin and her family, and the decisions our colleagues at the Hallmark Channel USA needed to make,” the statement began. “As you can imagine, everyone involved with When Calls the Heart was surprised by these developments, so we hope you can forgive us for initially staying silent while we sorted through how to respond.”

The statement continued: “As for the show itself, we know millions of fans are on pins and needles wondering what will happen now. Let us reassure you, When Calls the Heart has always been bigger than the sum of its parts, and it HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED. With the full support of the network, we have gone on a creative hiatus to do some retooling on the remaining Season 6 episodes. That process has already begun. Hope Valley will return to your TV screens as soon as we can bring the episodes to you.”

    1. Yes, thank you for sharing Brian Bird's statement regarding the continuation of "When Calls the Heart." The producers have been quite reassuring with all the fans (Hearties) that the show will go on... even without Lori. It is a shocking turn of events for everyone involved, and I cannot even begin to imagine where they will go from here, since Abigail is such an integral role, as Mayor and business owner, with the Hope Valley community.

  6. The channel posted on Instagram that the series won’t end. It will go under hiatus.
"Hope Valley has many more stories left to share and we will let you know the details soon,” the post said.

  7. Hallmark’s Heart will continue beating without Lori Loughlin — but for how long?
In the wake of Loughlin’s indictment in the college cheating scandal and subsequent firing from When Calls the Heart (among other Hallmark projects), the EPs behind the feel-good drama are setting the record straight about the show’s post-scandal fate. As previously reported, Hallmark execs opted to press pause on the show’s currently-unspooling sixth season to explore its “creative options” moving forward. It now appears that the one-episode pre-emption has turned into a full-blown hiatus.

“With the full support of the network, we have gone on a creative hiatus to do some retooling on the [seven] remaining Season 6 episodes,” read a statement issued by EP Brian Bird via Instagram. “That process has already begun. Hope Valley will return to your TV screens as soon as we can bring the episodes to you.”
Bird reassured fans that When Calls the Heart “has always been bigger than the sum of its parts,” before insisting that “it has not been cancelled.”

It also has not been renewed — not yet anyway. Hallmark is not commenting on what impact Loughlin’s departure will have on the show beyond the already-shot sixth season.

You can read Bird’s full statement below…

    Hope Valley will return soon

    The show must go on

    1. I'm sure it's going to be a difficult process to remove Lori from the rest of the Season 6 "When Calls the Heart" production. It will surely take quite a while to fix the episodes... either without her entirely or replacing the actress, who plays Abigail. Whatever the creative team decides to do, any option is sure to take a great deal of time and patience.

Will WCTH be able to continue after this? Again, only time will tell. Losing Daniel Lissing as Jack Thornton at the end of Season 5 was already a most difficult blow for the Hearties; I'm not certain what the reaction will be, from viewers and cast members, after losing Lori Loughlin as Abigail Stanton, especially since Lori has been with the series since the pilot movie.

  8. First of all, thank you, Net, for the beautiful new banner and lovely and uplifting wallpaper that I needed so desperately to lift my own spirits since all the controversy over Lori that has saddened me deeply!! This has been the first I've been able to comment since my emotions have been all over the place. I understand she admitted guilt and that took a lot of courage knowing she will pay the consequences. I pray for her and her family every day and will continue to do so and I pray she visits this website to read some of the truly wonderful messages especially from you, Net, and to know that only God can erase our footprints from this earth, not man....Peace....

    1. Oh, Linda... Thank you for sharing your heart here. I know... it isn't easy. This is such a heartbreaking issue for all of us - in many ways. I'm so glad the new Spring look on my site refreshened and uplifted your spirits today. It is the time of new beginnings. Your sweet, compassionate message came today when I needed it the most! Each of us has been struggling, in our way, with our feelings on this. My heart goes out to you - with all my might! I pray out of this darkness - will come His Light!

It is so wonderful to hear from you, again. I always appreciate your insightful perspective and Godly wisdom. Bless you! Net

  9. I watched When Calls the Heart with my mom and sisters back when it first came out (Season One). Since we were younger, some of the parts were a little too intense for us. We took a break after that and haven't thought much about the show since. And after I heard what happened in Season 5, I didn't think I would ever watch it. But, when skipping through the "Surprise" episode online, we liked it and decided to try out some of the others. It's very nice how on Hallmark's website you can read all the details of each show on the episode guide. I am glad how they have given the show more lighthearted plotlines. We don't like to watch things that make us upset, or else it's not really "entertainment" haha:) So, we really enjoyed this season and are now looking forward to Season 7!:)
