Happy January 25th, Everyone!
As we "Mark the 25th" day this month,
it is now 11 months until Christmas Day...
333 days and so many hours and minutes,
according to the Countdown Clock!
To commemorate this special time here at "It's a Wonderful Movie"... those who wish to participate- will choose something Christmassy to watch! It can be a classic film, or a TV movie, a cartoon, or even just a few minutes of a Christmas movie/show you love... whatever you have time for on this day. (Anything is fine, as long as it's family friendly!)
I'll share which Christmas movie I have chosen to watch on the 25th, and for those of you who would like to participate, please share which Christmas movie/program you are watching, as well, in comments below!
On this January 25, 2019, I am watching-
starring Candace Cameron Bure and Jesse Hutch

We've had so much Snow and Ice lately here in the Midwest, I thought "Let it Snow" would be ideal to watch! (or should I said re-watch, for the millionth time! haha!) I just love that it is 100% real snow in this movie, and at the very end, Stephanie Beck finally sees her very first snowfall! Awe!
Watching Candace's character transform in this movie is such a joy... as she opens up to the love of family and friends, enjoys Christmas once again, and saves Snow Valley in the process! "Let it Snow" is such an endearing Hallmark Christmas movie, and one of the many reasons fans love Candace so much!
If you don't already have it,
"Let it Snow" is available on DVD!
"Let it Snow" is available on DVD!
Now, it's your turn to share... which Christmas movie/program will you watch on the 25th? Join the "It's a Wonderful Movie" family and friends... as we Countdown to Christmas together!
Joyful Blessings, Net
Switched for Christmas - DVD
Journey Back to Christmas - DVD
A Christmas Detour - DVD
I love this idea. I will be watching “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” It’s one of my faves.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in, HallmarkHubby! Glad you like this idea, too. It has become a monthly tradition here at "It's a Wonderful Movie."
DeleteSorry to hear you've been under the weather, but glad to know you're feeling better. Take care and enjoy watching "The Most Wonderful Time of Year." That is a huge favorite here, as well!
Blessings to You! Net
The Christmas Card....for about the 200th time..but who's counting?? Never gets old! Love that movie!
ReplyDeleteOh, "The Christmas Card" is always a perfect pick, Joyce! Love everything about this Hallmark Christmas movie, too! I love how it honors our military and the sweet love story! Plus, the snow is authentic and so beautiful on screen. I think a lot of the newer movies miss that with their fake snow. You can always tell when it's real.
DeleteEnjoy the movie once again! :)
Me too. The Christmas Card is so good and heartwarming. I watch it at least once every six months. The ending is just so well done. I never know whether to laugh or to cry when it ends. Great choice.
DeleteI still have some I haven't watched from this Christmas. I'll try to watch some or part of one tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat, Anonymous, with movies to still watch from this past Christmas. Gradually, I've been catching up and taking time out to watch the Winterfest movies, too.
DeleteEnjoy your new Christmas movie tonight! :)
I wish Hallmark had played Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas on their channel at Christmas time. With all the other movies on, I never took the time to watch it again, but tonight seems like a good time to do that.
ReplyDeleteP.S. We've had lots of snow too and ice. Be safe when you go out.
Wonderful choice, Anna! I love "Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas!" It is such a wonderful movie, with drama and mystery, and the true meaning of Christmas! Enjoy watching with your family! :)
DeleteAlso, be sure to take care when you go out, too, and keep warm!
I love this!! I am going to watch “Eloise at Christmastime” :) I didn’t watch it this past season
ReplyDeleteMy girls I have picked Eloise too! It is a shame it was not on this year! It is classic that we cherish each year!
DeleteHow sweet! I just love Eloise, especially at Christmastime! Watching this particular movie always brings me great joy; it truly is a magnificent cast and production! Enjoy watching! :)
DeleteAwwwww, yes, Net!! I'll be watching "Let it Snow" also. It's one of my "top" all time favorites that I've watched a million times! Lol! The movie, scenery, and music composition throughout the film was absolutely beautiful. I wish I could find the sound tract.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you, Linda, for joining me in watching "Let it Snow." ((You know you're my favorite, right? *smiling*))
DeleteAnyway, I know we both just love Candace and all of her Hallmark movies, and this one is such a dear film from her grand collection!
Thank you for joining in! Enjoy watching "Let it Snow" again, my friend! :)
A Christmas Wish
ReplyDeleteFabulous choice! "A Christmas Wish" always touches my heart; Kristy Swanson shines in this film!
DeleteTime is, indeed, swiftly moving on, Jim! Only 11 months to go... and it's Christmas again! Even shorter than that, for the Hallmark Christmas movie season to begin!
ReplyDeleteI think your Christmas movie choice for "Mark the 25th" is truly perfect timing, especially with Kristoffer Polaha starring in Mystery 101 this weekend!
Happy watching! :)
I’m watching A Christmas Melody! Love this one!
ReplyDeleteWonderful choice, Angelvic! I love when Brennan sings with the little girl while they are practicing. Such a sweet Christmas movie! :)
DeleteYes, here in the Midwest we have the snow, the ice, and now frigid sub-zero temperatures. A great time to stay indoors and watch Hallmark movies! Because of the weather, I am going to go with one of my all-time favorites, Snow Bride.
ReplyDeleteMark (Mark25)
Mark25, That was definitely a perfect choice for Mark the 25th, especially this time of year! I see we were both going for the same theme with lots of snow!
DeleteIn my opinion, "Snow Bride" is truly one of Hallmark's best! I always laugh when she says something like - I've never been so glad to see flannel!
It's soooo good! :)
Today we have our Charlie Brown Christmas tree up, probably watch Christmas Card and enjoy a nice Turkey tv dinner. Plan on doing this every month until Dec. 25th. Hope everyone has a very blessed day. Enjoy your movie whatever your choice. RG
ReplyDeleteRG, This comment just warmed my heart so much! I love that you put up your Charlie Brown Christmas tree on the 25th! With one ornament it must be pretty quick to do, but the love you feel from it - is surely priceless!
DeleteThank you so much for joining in and sharing your movie pick. "The Christmas Card" is another beautiful movie with lots of real snow! I love that and the heartwarming story.
We'll be continuing to do the 25th here every month until Christmas movies begin regularly again!
Blessings to You! Net
Hi Net and IAWM Friends, this is Mark2 (Washington state) and I am so glad this tradition is becoming established. Missed you all over the holidays, but enjoyed all the Hallmark movies and can't wait to talk with you all again. I watched "A Midnight Kiss" today and enjoyed it very much. So nice. I had never seen Adelaide Kane before, but she was great. Carlos Penavega was as likable as always and solidly supported Ms. Kane. Here's to another year of great movies.
ReplyDeleteHello Mark! It's so great to hear from you, again. Your movie pick for the 25th is one of the few Christmas movies I still have on my list to watch. I know... it's almost February, and I'm still watching Christmas movies! Must say, I've been enjoying watching them still, little by little.
DeleteGood to hear you enjoyed "A Midnight Kiss!" I'll look forward to watching it soon! :)
Love.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Regine! :)
DeleteHi Net,
ReplyDeleteFrom one "midwesterner" to another, I am sure you are experiencing the record-breaking cold temperatures today (-20's). I hope you and your family are safe and warm! It's a great day to stay indoors and watch tons of Hallmark movies!
God's blessings as always!
Mark (Mark25)
Hello Mark 25!
DeleteYou are so right! Today is THE perfect day to stay inside, keep warm, and watch lots of Hallmark movies! (Maybe catch up on another Christmas movie, too!)
We still have snow & ice, so in addition to the horribly cold temps, it's really slick out there, too.
I pray you and yours keep warm, as well! Hope the Polar Vortex passes us by soon... looking forward to the thaw this weekend!
God's blessings!!! Net
You need Winter clothes to keep you guys warm & chapstick. Stay inside your houses
DeleteThank you. I appreciate your concern. We've bundled up carefully when going out for any reason; we've definitely hurried from our home to the vehicle as soon as possible. The temps have been very dangerous, but thankfully, they are getting increasingly better. Temps in the 30s and 40s are on the way, and they sound wonderful in contrast to the severe negative temps we've had in recent days. Again, thank you!
