She immediately takes on the challenge to revitalize the store, but clashes with the owner, Andrew (Jamie Spilchuk), who initially rejects all her proposed improvements. Eventually, sparks fly as the two begin a budding romance, and Claire’s infectious optimism inspires Andrew to join her in reviving the yuletide spirit. But everything comes to a screeching halt when Claire discovers that Andrew is planning to sell the bookstore in the New Year. Will the spirit of Christmas be enough to change Andrew’s mind and encourage him to follow his heart?
Movie Review:
Please know, I have not previewed this film personally, but I have been informed by those who have watched this movie, that there is a gay married priest in this film. I know this does not comply with my Christian traditional values and others who have shared this news with me. I wanted to be sure you all were aware of this.

Merry Christmas to you, Net
Very disappointing to have a gay couple in the movie. Christmas movies are usually beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood to know, so I can skip it. I remember being disappointed a couple of years ago by a Hallmark Christmas movie with a gay character (the sister in, I think, "Bride for Christmas") Also, I am glad you stand up for your beliefs! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI agree 100% I thought this movie had a great beginning. Feel good feeling and very homely. Until the part with the gay priest. I was extremely appalled as to why they would even write that in the script. I still like the movie I just the part with the priest could've been left out.
ReplyDelete100% disappointed!!! First of all live your life how ever you want to but if you live a sinful life God 100% does NOT ACCEPT IT!! He loves us but we are to live as he teaches us in the Bible and homosexuality is a SIN!
