ReplyDeleteHow can there be only two weeks left till Christmas already?! This wonderful time of year always goes by far too fast.
ReplyDeleteI sure have been enjoying the abundance of Christmas movies. They're all I've been watching for the past few weeks, but I still have 11 new movies recorded that I haven't seen yet. And I haven't even been watching ION and UP because I don't have those channels. I've been relying on your site even more than usual to keep track of everything, Net!
This last weekend, my favorite movie was "Welcome to Christmas." It was a whole bunch of fun with a lot of great humor and banter. I laughed a lot. And, of course, I loved Eric Mabius in it. The other standout for me was "Christmas Lost and Found" on Lifetime. It was a refreshingly unique story with a dash of mystery and a fun scavenger hunt, and the leads had great chemistry.
Thanks for the heads-up about these. I enjoyed "Welcome to Christmas"--both the actors are favorites of mine. And I especially liked "Christmas in Tennessee"; I think it is my favorite movie of the year! (Sorry, Hallmark!) I had heard Andrew Walker talk about it on the "Deck the Hallmark" podcast, and he was very sweet. He said that while he normally makes Hallmark movies, he couldn't resist making this one because he was asked to by the director, with whom he has worked before and whom he respects/likes very much, and he loves working with Rachel Boston. Whatever it is, I think the combination is very charming. I hope they'll release it on dvd. Some of the other movies I had been saving on my dvr seemed pale in comparison after I watched this one.
