  5. I love this time of year and the warmth and joy it brings...and how it reminds us that God gave us salvation through the birth of Jesus. 6. Hi Net, I can't believe it's finally here. Happy Countdown to and Miracles of Christmas, everybody! It will be so nice to have Christmas movies available on 2 networks 24 hours a day. The Christmas lover in me is very happy.

BTW, I watched "The Town That Christmas Forgot" yesterday. All I can say is the message was very positive. It reminded me just how much more seriously Hallmark takes its Christmas movies today than it did in the early 2000s. Kept getting distracted by the obviously draped the fake snow is. I still think the story and message were good.

  10. Hey again. Sorry to break in again, but I just got the Hallmark email about Countdown and Miracle and it included something new and exciting. Aside from 24/7 Christmas movies, Hallmark will host 24/7 Christmas music on Sirius channel 50 starting November 1. I'll bet it will be great, and I wonder if they will include the songs that have been in previous and current Christmas movies that were never released to buy or to hear again on everyday radio. That would be so cool. Can't wait to try it. All the best to you and all of your families.

    1. Yes! I loved hearing this news too - on the new Hallmark radio channel for SiriusXM! It sounds awesome! Christmas carols will be introduced by popular Hallmark stars: Candace Cameron Bure LeAnn Rimes, Holly Robinson Peete, Lacey Chabert, Danica McKellar, and Kellie Pickler! And probably more! :)

Hope all who have SiriusXM enjoy this new Hallmark station very much! Let us know - if you try it, Mark! :)

  11. Yay! I am also glad that I was wrong that the first movie isn't tonight (Friday), but Saturday.

  12. As excited as I am about all of the Christmas movies (some more than others), I'm also kind of like: WAIT! It's a little TOO early. :)

  13. Is Entertaining Christmas based on Debbie Macomber's Merry & Bright or different movie?

Starring Jodie Sweetin & Brendan Fehr

    1. No, Debbie Macomber's book Merry & Bright has a different description.

"Entertaining Christmas" SYNOPSIS: “Claire is a cookbook author, crafting expert, and television personality whose name is synonymous with perfection. As she contemplates retirement, her daughter Kara (Sweetin) is poised to become the new face of the Livingston brand. The only trouble is, Kara can’t cook. Or sew. Or do any of the signature things her mother is known for. When a young girl posts a video online requesting Claire help welcome her deployed father home for Christmas, Kara is sent in her place in an effort to prove herself a worthy successor to the board of directors and win the job. As Kara does her best to make a good impression, she gets more than she bargained for when the young girl’s uncle Joe turns out to be a reporter for the local paper, looking for his next story.”
