  1. Wow! All our favorite Hallmark stars from Andrew Walker to Nial Matter to Rachel Boston to Bethany Lenz! So glad to see Andrew and Bethany in new Christmas moves, albeit, not to their but I think the pairing of Andrew and Rachel Boston will be very good, as Bethany's with Marcus--who I am glad is now more of a lead. I think the Lifetime movies are a bit edgier than HM, so it's nice to see our favorite actors switch it up a bit as well. This info is gold, Net, and I thank you so much for posting!

  3. Wow, Hallmark has some Christmas movie competition from Lifetime. A lot of Hallmark regulars in Lifetime movies, I like it. I'm really looking forward to Christmas Pen Pals (with Sarah and Niall) and of course, as a OTH fan, looking forward to The Christmas Contract.

Net, you are great! All the films sound interesting and I noticed that Tatyana Ali is starring in films for both Hallmark and Lifetime. Good news. I am probably most happy to see tat Kadeem Hardison and Jasmine Guy will be in a Lifetime Christmas movie this year. They were great on A Different World, and I can't wait to see them again. Thank you again, Net. You literally answered my prayer. BTW, I will update you all on my Remember Christmas 25th movies for the last few months tomorrow. I love Christmas TV movie news! How adorbs are Andrew Walker and Rachel Boston in that pic! I can hardly believe Hallmark let Lifetime swoop in and catch Andrew for Christmas again! What's up with that? Anyhow, it doesn't matter to me, just happy to see Andrew and lots of other celebs were used to seeing on Hallmark!!!!! ❤️👏🎄⛄️🏂🎅🎁

    1. The problem is that Hallmark doesn't film enough of their own Christmas movies early in the year to lock in some of their busiest and most sought after actors. They film a few straggler Christmas movies early in the year, but the bulk of them are being filmed in Sept-October this time around.

Rachel and Andrew filmed their movie way back in late March/early April (when there was still some real snow in Winnipeg). Lifetime simply got to them first. Since then, Hallmark may have asked Andrew if he wanted to do a Christmas movie for them as well, and he could have turned them down. He has said that he says no to some things that are offered to him. He doesn't accept every movie Hallmark offers.

So, unless Andrew suddenly pops up in one of the upcoming Hallmark Christmas movies without a cast, then, for the second year in a row, they lost Andrew to Lifetime for Christmas.

They may have lost Rachel too. She has been working on a TV series and I don't know how big her role is supposed to be, or how long she will be filming. If she is going to be tied up for a month or two, she probably won't be able to swing a Hallmark Christmas movie too. But if she is done with the series very soon, there is still time to do a movie. Rachel hasn't been IN a movie for Hallmark at all this year, having only worked behind the scenes on "Love at First Dance" as a producer. I thought we would see her in at least one new movie, but, so far... nothing. Again, probably bad timing on Hallmark's part again for not locking her in early on.

    2. Em and Anonymous, Thank you, both, for your comments!

That is so true what you said Em... "it doesn't matter to me, just happy to see Andrew and lots of other celebs were used to seeing on Hallmark!"

I think that's the feel from lots of viewers... we will follow our favorites on whatever network they are on. Obviously, Hallmark and Lifetime are in a great competition here with one another, but viewers don't mind either way.

I think you are most right, Anonymous, about Rachel and Andrew, who may too busy to squeeze in a Hallmark Christmas movie this year, but we'll see! :)

      Blessings, Net

  8. Hey, Net, great post; what exploded over at Lifetime?? Do they really think they can take down the "great" Hallmark countdown to Christmas? They've been #1 for so many years and deserving of all praise and accolades! I do see some that I would love to see and I'm sure we will all be vocal when they air. I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner!! Yay!!

    1. Oh... I love it, Linda! Lifetime and Hallmark are must definitely in full holiday competition mode.

I do recall last year - how many loved Lifetime's new Christmas movies, especially "Snowed-Inn Christmas!" And since they were family-friendly, un-like what they play the rest of the year, Lifetime's new Christmas movies in 2017 - truly had that Hallmark-esque feel!

Now, I'm not sure if all the new Lifetime movies will be family-friendly this year, but I'm hopeful, as they all certainly look most intriguing. And it's nice to know there will be actual real snow (as Anonymous mentioned above) in Andrew and Rachel's movie. I can't stand it when it looks so obviously fake in some movies.

It is, indeed, coming fast! Thank you for sharing all the excitement! :)

      Blessings, Net

    1. RG, that's an excellent DVD Wish List of Hallmark Christmas movies! I LOVE every single one that you mentioned! I am definitely keeping a look out for all of these titles! Let's hope there are many more to come now and during the Christmas season!

I love your thought... It would be absolutely fantastic if Santa could surprise us with all of these! :)

  12. A Christmas Kiss has some language (2-3 completely unnecessary curse words), and there was a couple of mild innuendos. Mostly very clean but not the Rated G hallmark movies. I believe it is rated PG. I don't know about the others though.
