On August 25th... it will only be 4 months until December 25th, Christmas Day... 121 days and so many hours and minutes, according to my Countdown Clock!!!
To commemorate this special time here at It's a Wonderful Movie... let's share which Christmas movies (or program, cartoon, etc...) we are watching on the 25th! (Or, perhaps over the weekend!) For those of you who would like to participate, please share your Christmas pick - in comments below!
For the 25th I have chosen to watch the movie...
Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade
Hallmark Crown Media |
Since Autumn Reeser's Summer Nights movie "Season for Love" premieres this Saturday night, which is the 25th, I thought this would be a fun time to look back at her first Hallmark movie!
"Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" is a delightfully witty and remarkably romantic - Hallmark movie treasure! I simply adore Autumn and Antonio Cupo in it - together!
In this movie we learn... everything old is new again and things of the past should not be discarded, but cherished!
By now, most of you have seen this movie, so you don't need me to tell you how fabulous it is, but in case your curious, you can read my full movie review - *here*!
And, for anyone interested, "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" is available on DVD or streaming video!
Please share your picks for Mark the 25th in comments below!
Joyful Blessings! Net
I don't watch much tv so I like to keep up with what's coming up and choose wisely! You just can't go wrong with these wonderful movies! Thanks for keeping us informed!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad you enjoy these updates. It is good to choose wisely with what we watch and absorb into our minds and spirits. I am grateful to be able to share so many wholesome Hallmark movies, etc...
DeleteBlessings to you! Net
Watching something Autumn Reeser is a great idea, and maybe also watching Marc Blucas, so I think I will do Bramble House and Miss Christmas. I can't believe it is almost 2 months to Countdown to Christmas and 1 month to Fall Harvest, yippee. Dunkin Donuts is getting the pumpkin donut in on Saturday, yipppeeeee. Bring on the pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteCount me in, Sabrina! I thought about also squeezing in a Marc Blucas Christmas movie over the weekend... so, I'll join you and Jim (his comment's below) and watch Miss Christmas! (probably on Sunday for me!)
DeleteEnjoy! I can't believe how close it's getting to Christmas either! Coming so fast!!! :)
Blessings, Net
I'm choosing Romance at Reindeer Lodge. I saw this earlier this year and really enjoyed it. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it!
ReplyDeleteBrent, That movie is so great! I was pleasantly surprised by "Romance at Reindeer Lodge" last year and loved re-watching it in July! It is truly something special... entertaining, extremely funny, and the romance is sweet too!
DeleteEnjoy watching it again! Blessings, Net
This month I want to laugh, laugh, laugh, so I have chosen "One Christmas Eve". Not only laugh, I was thoroughly exhausted at the end of this movie after all the crazy antics Nell and her brood encountered this Christmas eve. Loved "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, watched it last month! Great pick, Net!
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect Christmas movie choice, Linda, to make you laugh! I love "One Christmas Eve" and the Puppy!!!
DeleteI recall some were surprised that it was the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, because of all the comedy in it, but it's definitely filled with lots of heartwarming moments too!
Enjoy watching and laughing along!!! :)
Blessings, Net

Awesome! Thank you for sharing that news, H.R. One of the cast members shared a while back that they were expecting the premiere date to be Sunday, September 30, but I haven't seen Hallmark confirm that, yet. I'm hoping we will hear something soon! :)
DeleteI appreciate you sharing!

Love at the Thanksgiving Parade is a great "25th of" Christmas Movie. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I couldn't agree more... I think "Love at the Thanksgiving Parade" will always be one of my top ten all-time favorites!
DeleteBlessings, Net
I will be watching The Christmas Train, that I DVRd back in July. It is one of the final 3 that I taped and have not seen. It is such a special one that it is perfect to keep for the 25th
DeleteLove "The Christmas Train," Becky! Wonderful choice! Hope you enjoy it very much... it's filled with lots of wonderful twists & turns!
DeleteHappy watching!!! Blessings, Net
Great idea Net! I will be joining Sabrina and watch A Bramble House Christmas and either Miss Christmas or Operation Christmas. I don't have Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade but it's on my wish list. Thanks for keeping us in line for "Mark the 25th"!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy ALL the Christmas movies you choose to watch, Joyce! You really can't go wrong with any of those wonderful choices. "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" is definitely a good one to add to your wish list!

Perfect pick, Jim! I'm adding "Miss Christmas" to my weekend Christmas movie viewing too, along with "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade!" The more the merrier!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're hungry DVR hasn't eaten that one, yet!
Blessings, Net
Seeing that Lindy Booth is going to be in a new movie, Under the Autumn Moon, reminded me of an older Lifetime movie that she was in, The Twelve Trees of Christmas. Since I have it on dvd, that is going to be my pick for the 25th.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe we are only four months away from Christmas?!! Thank you so much Net for your wonderful site to help us keep the Christmas spirit alive the whole year 'round!
Mark25
That is another perfect choice, Mark! My favorite part is the end when the little girl sings! Such a precious moment and a fun rom-com! Lindy and Robin are both wonderful!
DeleteEnjoy and Merry 25th!!!
Blessings, Net
That is so funny, Jim! Could be a subliminal message... Love it!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope Hallmark will make a movie about Water Lantern Festival just like they did Lantern Festival in Daters' Handbook
ReplyDeleteThat sounds nice! :)
DeleteI didn't have a chance over the weekend to watch something Christmas, but I think I'll put Love at the Thanksgiving Parade in tonight. Great suggestion, Net! It's forever one of mine and my husband's favorite!
ReplyDeleteOh, so glad you love it too!!! Truly one of Hallmark's best!!! :)
