  1. Hi Net! I've got my Christmas movies recording and I am excited to see the last of the new wedding movies tonight! POLUS, the look into Summer Nights!!! Hard to believe the year is passing so quickly. But how great that we have so many movies to see us through the seasons! Fall is right around the corner, followed by Countdown to Christmas. But first, I'd like some summer weather here in the Pacific Northwest. The rain is back! Have a great weekend Net,

    Kerry

    1. Kerry, I am ready for summer to be over and Fall to be here, it is so hot, humid and rainy here in Tampa FL. Bring on Fall :)

    2. Kerry and Sabrina,

First, Kerry... you can definitely have some of our heat, we are most willing to share! (ha! ha!) In exchange, we will take some rain, that sounds refreshing right about now!

And, Sabrina... we are in the same boat! The Midwest is so scorching hot, it's truly miserable to be outside for even a few minutes... unless your in the pool, of course.

It really helps having these Christmas movies to watch and dreaming of White Christmases!!! I'm with you - so ready for Fall and cooler weather and no mosquitoes, June Bugs, etc...

  4. The Christmas Secret & The Christmas Note are in the same city of Watsonville. Same Betty in different bakery! Same store Watsonville Collective.

    1. Its Wilsonville the name of the town. The character of Jason is in the Note too, but he is played by a different actor.

    2. I got that!!! Wilsonville

      John Reardon as Jason
      Jeremy Gauilbaut as Jason

Where's Jason's Grandpa Wilson & his Wife; Judy so, Where's Christine & her Children; Zach & Haley????

    3. I think we're supposed to simply believe and imagine that they are all still living there in Wilsonville. I'd have to watch it again to see if something is specifically mentioned about them.

  5. I loved the movie Yes, I Do. But the constant awful music in the background is a terrible distraction, especially when the actors are just talking.

    1. I'm sorry this was an issue for you, I have definitely noticed this before. Can you turn closed captioning on your TV? I use it, from time to time, when I can't figure out what an actor is saying. Please note: if you are recording the show, it may also record the dialogue on the screen with it.

      Thank you for sharing.

    2. I always use Closed Caption for Hearing Impaired. What are they saying or even music????

    3. I don't recall having any issue with this particular movie, but I have noticed loud background music before that disrupts the understanding of the dialogue. Was there a particular spot you needed, or just overall? I'd be glad to help, if I can.

  6. The Christmas Secret is probably one of the best Hallmark Christmas movies ever made... such a wonderful, touching story with romance, family, and a little Christmas magic. Bethany Joy Lenz is gold!

    1. Oh, CH Mom, I just adore "The Christmas Secret," too! And, the whole bit with "Rosemary" is just the best, along with the sweetness of the town and how the whole puzzle fits together! It is beautifully done.

I remember the first year it premiered. It was still the Hallmark Movie Channel then, I believe, but anyway, either way... I didn't have the channel, yet, but I was sent a screener from Hallmark - of that and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: For Christmas." I remember watching them both with my family and thinking to myself - wow! - if this is the quality of programming on that station, I need that channel! Since then, there have been some really great films, but those two movies will always hold a special place in my heart!

Thank you for sharing your love of "The Christmas Secret," CH! :)

Ch Mom & Net, I too love The Christmas Secret and The Christmas Note. I was so hoping that we would get another Wilsonville movie!! Both are two of my favorites!

    3. Where's Rosemary & Christine whose working for Betty's Bakery so, Betty was working alone in "The Christmas Note"?

    4. I'm still hoping too, Joyce! Would love to see a Christmas movie return to the town of Wilsonville, but Betty must be there too! :)

  7. First, I would like to say I was so happy having Christmas on TV this weekend and the next 3 plus weeks.

Second, I just loved Yes, I do, it is one of the best movies of the year so far. o sweet, adorable, and so happy it ended with a wedding. I want to see Jen and Marcus together in future movies. Hopefully Christie Will casts them together more in her movies :)

  8. One more comment, did you guys see Autumn Reesers really short hair in the preview for her summer nights movie? It was very short, I miss her longer hair. My husband almost didn't recognize her. Short hair is great for the summer though, with all the heat.

    1. Yes, I noticed. I saw set pics and was already expecting it, but it's always different to see actors or actresses with completely different looks. I think Candace changes hers quite a bit, especially since she always has to go back to red for Aurora, but I kinda prefer the beginning movies, when it was a lighter strawberry blonde/red. And, Erin Krakow's short hair-do, of course, means she has to wear wigs for WCTH, which is often a topic of conversation, when they look not-so-real, at times, on screen. Also, in real life, SSD star Kristin Booth has cut her beautiful blonde hair short, as well, but she has reassured fans this does not necessarily mean the end of SSD.

Thank you for your comment, Sabrina!

    2. Net & Sabrina -- Tricia Helfer also got a very short haircut. Even shorter than Autumn's hair and Erin K.'s hair. By the way, I saw that someone asked Tricia if she had any upcoming Hallmark movies, and she said no. So, unless there is a last minute development, it doesn't sound like we will be seeing Tricia in any new Hallmark movies at all this year.

    3. I am sad about no Tricia movies, she is wonderful, just love her in The Sun and Sand movie with Paul Campbell, and of course one of my faves, Finding Christmas. Just watched Mistletoe over Man the other day too :)

    4. Did Autumn Reeser cut her hair or wears a wig for her role in “A Season for Love”

    5. Autumn's hair is shorter now. She is not wearing a wig.
