That is beautiful, Net, and so true. "Love anchors the Soul"
ReplyDeleteI read this story years ago and it has stuck with me since. I'm looking forward to the movie adaption.
Net, I loved this movie and ,yes, "love anchors the Soul" as was depicted throughout this film. This role was made for Andie; no other could have played Caretta but her. I cried, again, but well worth it after seeing her goal come full circle with her family before her death. Can't wait for this one to come out on dvd......just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWoops, I meant Mama Lovie, not Caretta; her daughter....
DeleteLoved this movie! Was a tear jerker buy so sweet at the same time. What grace and strength Lovie had. Andie played the part perfectly!
ReplyDeleteOH MY Gosh!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous story!
I was enthralled for the entire movie.
Yes I was sad but at the end of the film I felt hopeful.
I also got interested in the plight of the sea turtle
I will be reading the book over the summer
