  3. From these pictures, it looks like the one guy is the guy from A Royal Christmas, he was the advisor, friend and hopefully they ended up together to the queen. I am going to have to IMDB and see if it is him, but it looks like him. I like that guy, he was good in hat movie.

    1. Yes, Sabrina... that is actor Simon Dutton. He portrayed the butler (house manager), Victor, in "A Royal Christmas," and he portrays King Edward in "Royal Matchmaker"! Two royal movies, and yet, distinctly, two different roles!

I just loved when he taught Lacey royal etiquette and how to dance the waltz in "A Royal Christmas." Wonder if his character will be as likeable in "Royal Matchmaker"?

    2. Yes, it would be so fun to see a sequel to "Royal Matchmaker"!

The great Kate Gleason, along with her assistant, Britney, would have the grand task of planning a royal wedding... and, perhaps, Britney, could find love this time around, with a little matchmaker help from Kate, of course!!!

  5. This was a horrible movie. I normally love Hallmark movies but the main characters in this one aren't believable in their roles and have zero chemistry. Very disappointed that I stayed up to watch it. What a forgetable movie.

    1. Really? I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy this one.

I thought it was witty and charming, but not everyone loves the same things.

Perhaps, you'll like the next one better.

  7. Joy Lenz was fabulous in this and Will Kemp was charming! To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the story line, but this is definitely one of the better Hallmark "royal" movie we've had for a long time. Joy Lenz is such a good actress and I want to see more of her in Hallmark!

  11. I absolutely loved this movie! It was funny, charming and really had me on the edge of my seat. When he proposed--the way he did it was perfect. I really do wish they make a part 2 after the wedding maybe she has to help another royal.

    1. I thought he looked pretty much the same. He looked more different in Reign with the curly hair. He is the most beautiful man that I have ever seen.

  13. I loved this movie! I also loved the pink gown Bethany wore to the ball. Where can I get this gown? It would be perfect to wear to my son’s wedding!

  14. Kate has 98.5% capatibilty index with Prince Sebastian

Kate's perfect match with Sebastian because she's professional matchmaker

Prince Sebastian kissed Kate's hand & although she's in love with him so, does everybody know

Kate is a Queen of Heart

  15. I want a sequel!!! i usually don´t like those royal movies, but i loved this one, the couple were perfect. Also, it was different, because, in another movie, he would act like a spoiled child when his father told about the matchmaker. This what i found different, because both were very mature and witty, i found.

  17. Was one of the filming locations for this movie in or around Fussen, Germany?

    1. Hello Becky! According to IMDB, "Royal Matchmaker" was filmed in Europe... in Romania, including Bucharest and Sinaia. These are also the locations shared by the actors while filming. The Hallmark movie, "Royal Hearts," was also filmed in or around the same locale.

The castle, said to be used for filming, was the Peles Castle in Romania.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you hear any thing else.
