Danica shared this hosting news with her followers - and some extra fun details...

"I had so much fun shooting the Spring Fever Preview Show for @HallmarkChannel a few days ago! 🌞 It's a half-hour special airing next month where I'll give you guys a sneak peek at the entire lineup of Hallmark's Spring movies... 🌿 Gorgeous set, right? Amazing flowers, right? And don't I look all warm and spring-like? Guess what? ...It was **FREEZING** that day! ⛄⛄⛄I mean seriously, look at how the crew is dressed (see below!)- jackets, scarves, wool hats!! πŸ˜‚ In between takes I had a warm coat, but every time that chilling, icy wind picked up in the middle of a shot, I had to pretend it was a warm spring breeze, haha! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Well, if I did my job, you'll never see my chattering teeth but only come away with a happy, springtime warmth in your heart...πŸ˜‰ Airs Saturday March 10th at 11pm on @hallmarkchannel! 😘

I just love the bicycle you see in the background...

The bicycle reminds me of simple spring and summer days... warm sunshine, eating popsicles and drinking lemonade.

It also brings to mind the sweet promo commercials Lacey Chabert made last year for Hallmark Channel's "Spring Fling"! She had a pretty bicycle, as well, filled with flower blossoms and a beautiful yellow dress...

In the spring dΓ©cor with Danica this year, you can also see the Royal Albert Old Country Roses Tea Set. My Momma has a collection of these pieces and they are so beautiful.

It's such a lovely springtime set, one would never guess by looking at it, how cold it was to film. It's kind of ironic that the Winterfest preview show, hosted by Lori Loughlin, was in a warm setting, indoors, by the fireplace. I'm sure Danica will make us all believe it's a beautiful warm spring day! (Looks like the ideal setting for her sweet butterfly children's book Ten Magic Butterflies! Which, I might add, has excellent reviews on Amazon!)

Danica will be previewing four new Spring movies... "The Sweetest Heart," "Royal Matchmaker," "Home by Spring," and "Once Upon a Prince."

*BONUS* - The preview show will also include a special sneak peek of Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas!!!

UPDATE: It was revealed in the "Spring Fever Preview Show..." there will be 22 NEW Hallmark Channel Christmas Movies and 12 NEW Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas Movies coming later this year for the 2018 Holiday Season, which begins once again in October!

Be sure to tune into the 2018 Spring Fever Preview Show hosted by Danica McKellar Saturday March 10th, 2018 at 11pm/10c. on the Hallmark Channel!

Net, you triggered a sweet memory here. My cousin and I would ride our bikes to the store to buy and then go and eat a WHOLE box of popsicles...haha. That is, we both would eat a whole box, not share one. We would do this on a very warm summer day and then jump in the swimming pool...ahhh...such sweet simple innocent memories. Thanks.

    1. Oh, I'm so glad this brought to mind such a treasured memory for you, too, Jim! I remember hot summer days, riding my bike with my family, and we had a man who would travel around the area, and stop by and sell these popsicles, ewwww... I couldn't wait! We'd buy a box or two and it just tasted like summer! We also had orange push-ups! On a hot summer day, it could be quite sticky and messy, but, oh... so good!

Thank you for sharing your memories! That's incredible... you ate a Whole BOX of popsicles... oh my goodness! It must've been really hot!

      Blessings on your day!!! Net

    2. You just triggered another memory Net when you mentioned the guy would travel around and sell popsicles. We had this person that would come every day in summer on a bike (like some big three wheel bike)that had a freezer of some sort attached to it on back of bike. The person would ring the bell as they approached. Ahhhh....I loved hearing that bell ring every day. All the kids in the neighborhood and we had a ton where I grew up would scramble to get a dime or whatever from parents and get our treats. So wonderful. In later years the bike became a traveling van that would play a song as it approached.

    3. Jim, Net, I loved your summertime stories and they take me back, also!! I grew up in the "burbs" and our favorite time was in the evening, after diner, waiting for the "Good Humor" man and buying those five cent double popsicles. We'd park our bikes on the sidewalk and plop on the curb to eat our ice cream before it melted in the summer heat. Oh, gosh, what great memories!! Thanks, you two!! LOL!!

    4. Awwwe... these are all such wonderful memories!!!

Love that your van played a song, Jim. How fun! I bet children's eyes lit up whenever he approached!

and, Linda... I love your story of waiting for the "Good Humor" man! Sounds like so much fun! And, by the way... our popsicles were always double, too - with two sticks!

Thank you, both, for sharing... these memories are just as sweet as the popsicles were then!!! :)

      Blessings! Net

  2. Danica looks beautiful here, but I bet she wishes she would've chosen a slightly warmer dress. I would've never guessed from the pictures how cold it was. I'll be sure to look for chattering teeth. LOL!

Those ad spots with Lacey last year were so fun, too. I remember there was also one with puppies that was very cute.

    1. I bet so, too, Anna! Perhaps a springy dress with sleeves! Hope she doesn't give us the "cold shoulder"! haha! Just Kidding! Danica seems like such a genuinely sweet, kind person, and in spite of the cold, she does look lovely in this setting!

Oh, and YES, I absolutely remember Lacey, giggling with the puppies last year in the Hallmark Spring Commercials. It was so sweet and refreshing! Totally Lacey!

      Blessings on your day!!! Net
